I completely agree the prices are insane. I still want a mini Kelly but I refuse to be exploited by some of the resellers. It’s insane. If I can get one in store I’ll buy one!

I live in Mexico City, I have Cartier Santos Demoiselle steel and 18 k gold , I never use it, maybe since 2007 ( when I Bought it) 10 times , our insecurity and crime are too high and this kind of items could cause big troubles

I paid 8700$ Us for it in Epsom last September. I personally never asked for it and been offered one. Still, I think it’s NOT it! 😂 That bag is so small, it’s ridiculous. I love it on vacation or to go for a dinner but it’s definitely not my most used bag. I would never ever pay the resell market price for it. But in general, all the Hermès bags went down on the resell market. Hermès quota bags are not the most user friendly. That’s why, I’m walking away, besides on my kelly25 retourne, all the others sit on my shelf most of the time. These bags are such a hype just for the status, I said what I said! That being said, I absolutely rarely see a mini Kelly out in the wild, so it’s really not everywhere. If we think so, we just need to get off our phones or computers and go see the outside world. 😂

I agree with the phone thing. Why would I ever buy a bag that doesn't fit my phone, keys and wallet? That is literally the purpose of the bag😂 never understood the micro bag thing

None of the Hermès quota bags are that exclusive or rare… you can find an infinite amount on resale sites. Plus the amount of Birkins and Kellys being worn around big cities is astronomical. I always take my Bulgari or Dior bags and I feel much more original .

@@Wildunfiltered I absolutely recommend them and love the two I have from the brand as much as the day I bought them. They are good value compared to other luxury bags, the Serpenti clasp with Onix, Malachite or Mother of Pearl is an absolute work of art.

I think the luxury market is changing. Plus there are so many birkins and kellys on the resale market that it’s no longer an exclusive item, just an expensive item.

Great video- you are so on the mark!The prices are still over $28K!!!! Ridiculous- I’m not interested in any especially if they don’t have a crossbody strap😂😂. I still love Tory Burch, LV and Gucci and great deals are out there. I do think many are still boycotting Dior, and I am glad!

I ended up unboxing a mini Kelly style bag from the 80s from Bally and it's 22.5cm so between the mini Kelly and Kelly 25 and it's perfect and best of all I found it for under $350 USD! I was so stoked to be able including this style in my collection without needed to bother with acquiring an Hermes nor paying Hermes prices.

I got offered one but in the end I chose a Mini bolide and it works perfectly. It’s ridiculous how small the Mini Kelly is and believe me nothings fits in there. Even my SA said to me she absolutely could not recommend one she would always go for a Kelly 25 or bigger sizes
I second Mini Bolide but will throw DOWN for the Mini Lindy any day! MK only comes in Sellier too, making the space even smaller. If a mini bag is not made in clemance, I don’t Stan it.

i ordered one from a hand bag maker for 500 dollars. i think thats the real cost of a mini kelly. im not paying 32k for that tiny bag. they made it from
scratch and hand made im happy with that. no need to over spend.

with the amount of bags that are available, they need to be priced closer to retail, maybe 2-5k more. but 2x or 3x the original price they are insane!. trying to put logic to insane price, seller is trying to make up the quota they had to spend to get the bag offered either 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 and then there's the reseller cut. but still too crazy for us buyers to justify. I'm glad we are becoming more aware, the bag ain't it.
Time to find some alternatives x

Maybe, because it’s been too difficult to get for almost anyone who wanted one and for so long, people have simply moved on? If there’s pretty much zero chance of owning one then why bother to covet it? It’s not going to happen so they spend elsewhere or buy a dupe.

For me a mini bag is more of a fashion accessory than a bag , great if you're on holiday , saw Amanda Holden wearing a fabulous little number with her all white outfit in Sicily with Alan Kar ❤️❤️, looked stunning ! However for me a REAL bag is not just beautiful, it has to WORK for me , hold my entire life , and be with me for the WHOLE journey ! 🙏xx
Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it….well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? Everyone one does something different with their *preluxz* for example their style, your style will set you apart.

The bag only appeals to trend chasers and to people who like Grace Kelly and her style. I’m in the second category. For $300, I bought myself a pair of earrings that are identical to a pair that she was pictured wearing in more than one photo. Now I don’t want or need a mini Kelly. Granted, I did also visit her grave in Monte Carlo, so that was expensive, but still not as expensive as the bag, and I got to travel around France as well as Monaco. I don’t need a mini Kelly… it doesn’t mean anything to me now.

Growing up I thought Hermes was for “hmhmhm old ladies”. And now that I am that older lady I still don’t like the bags. So have they gotten caught up in a trend, now making way too many of these bags, and there is now no one who wants them? I think the market is flooded with Hermes bags, and the resellers are going to have to drop their prices because they are sitting on millions of dollars worth of bags that they can’t sell

Even before I never found any of the hermes bags beautiful.. I have always been fascinated with LV, Dior and Loewe.. this is just me though, mainly like LV some of the styles they release are just really beautiful.. any Hermes looks like any bags you can buy from a local European or even Asian artisans that are very very reasonably priced..
Their pieces do not look unique, and for the price you have to pay for? Lol I will stick to the LVs even the vintage pieces look more unique than Hermes.

Mini Kellys are just too small. That and getting one is far too time consuming and irritating. Life is too short for the bulk of the population to deal with worrying over one of these.

Great video. I’ve never liked it and never wanted it … those teeny bags are idiotic in my opinion … to those who love them, fine! But I’m definitely not someone who ever was interested! Hilariously this bag has one of the best dupes I’ve ever seen 😂 people who shelled out a lot for one of these might be left feeling quite foolish

I am not a person who follow fashion and I wouldn’t never pay almost Sfr. 9000 for an useless bag according to my life style. I watched an australiens CZcamsr lady who brought back her 2 unsold Hermès bags, she also realised that the pre-love market is dropping a little bit.
