Great list Elliot! It ridiculously annoys me that people sit here and argue with YOUR TASTES & list. Baffling... Several that I would consider masterpieces are: Azzaro TMW Parfum, 1 Million Parfum, ADG Absolute, Fahrenheit Le Parfum, Mancera Sicily/Vetiver Sensuel/Tonka Cola, Argos Birth of Venus/Pallas Athene/Bacio Immortale/Sacred Flame, Amouage Royal Tobacco/Dia Man/Interlude Black Iris, Vertus Oud Noir, Nishane ANI, Issey Miyake L'eau Bleue
Subscribed! We have very similar tastes in fragrances. I too love Oud Wood but like Carved Oud more. I own Adventus, BDC Parfum, Reflection Man, Alexandria II and Ganymede. I love all of these but will always have Ganymede, Alexandria II and Reflection Man in my collection.
@@kingbabsy Acqua di Giò Profumo, Bleu de Chanel edp, Dior Homme Parfum, Terre d'Hermes edt full bottles. Decants of Reflection Man, Aventus, & Oud Wood
Great list! I agree that a masterpiece and 10/10 are different. This is a classic masterpiece list. I like them all. I would only throw Creed's GIT in there. 👍🏿👍🏿💪🏿
Nice video. Of course, you will be barraged with opinions; with this subject. That being said, the whole Tom Ford OG line up are masterpieces, Oud Wood, Tuscan Leather, Tobacco Vanille and Tobacco Oud. Dior Fahrenheit, the original is another. I think the original Dior Homme is the real masterpiece. Lastly, we have an outlier… Narcisso Rodriguez For Him EDT. Again… really great video
I think it takes about at least 100 more videos to name masterpieces...right now I can think of tons of perfumery masterpieces from both designers and niches that are not included here, for example, to name a few: Clive Christian Blonde Amber, Frederick Malle Portrait of a Lady, Orto Parisi Megamare, Sospiro Vibrato, Argos Triumph of Baccus, Xerjoff Naxos, LV Imagination and L'Immensite, Guerlain L'Homme Ideal and Shalimar, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Noir Extreme Parfum, BDK Gris Charnel, Rosendo Mateu No5, Roja Parfums Elysium and Enigma, Memo Paris African Leather, MFK Grand Soir and Oud Satin Mood, Ex-Nihilo Blue Talisman, Boadicea The Victorious Blue Sapphire, Fragrance Du Bois Oud Noir ...and the list goes on and on and never ends 😅 So Bro... do at least 99 more videos like this one and we'll be fine 😂😂😂😂
For what its created to be I consider Dior Sauvage EDT a masterpiece in modern perfumery. An outstanding fragrance. I also consider Thierry Mugler's Amen to be a masterpiece. I have most of those in your list and I would consider most of them 10/10 but not necessarily masterpieces. For me...masterpiece connotes something not just very good but something really special, different, unique or simply just way above the rest. Terre d' Hermes EDT I also consider a masterpiece. Of course Sauvage now may not be considered unique in any way...but when it was released it was something really special with that metallic freshness. To this day Sauvage is really quite a standout even among all the others that try to imitate it. As for A*Men....well...just a masterpiece of masterpieces. No more need be said about it.
If you love Alexandria 2 then you will love Xerjoff Le Capitale. Have you smelled that one yet? Its in the same regal luxury scent style as Alexandria 2
Bleu de channel Parfum Sounds interesting to me. But I'm not a big fan of the blue fragrance general. The Parfum Sounds like it's still might work for me.
@@khairt1731I disagree and so does Maxaroma. Can you wear it in the heat? Of course you can. You can wear whatever you want, when you want. Is it better in cooler weather? Yes, in my opinion.

We had the same path, Tom Ford Oud Wood completely rocked my world, and changed everything I had known about fragrances. But when I entered the Amouge Store in NJ, I could not find my way out. I bought that day 4 Amouge fragrances. Before uncovering Amouge, my favs were Tom Ford Oud Wood, Bleu the Chanelle, Dior Sauvage. Great list as always man.
Why comment on one fragrance out of 10 that you don’t like, when you could share one that you do like? What’s a fragrance that you would call a masterpiece?

Great video as aways Elliott, in my opinion, I feel Hypnotizing Fire from the house of the Harmonist is definitely a master piece !!
Agree with you have all except Oud Wood pick up a dupe a couple years ago.

I probably would have to mention Oud to Greatness or Side Effect; by Initio.

Initio Side Effect, Amouage Interlude 53, and Nishane Havicat you gotta get your nose on them if you haven’t already bro.
Wouldn’t call Reflection Man an original DNA. It’s a more polished JPG - now that is a truly iconic fragrance. Top 5 greatest of all time!
