She literally has one of the best voices ever.....I'm not even kidding. She can sound soft and haunting and powerful and soulful all at once!!!

I enjoyed this cover of Roy’s 1964 hit “It’s Over” which reached No1 in the U.K. charts. More highly rated in the U.K. Australia, Holland and Belgium than in the USA. Brandi keeps his music alive with her wonderful cover version.
She is so in the zone. Love her.
Not many singers have the guts to tackle Mr Orbison's songs (whit reason) still she did it in her way and not trying to better the master, very good job.
I just watched this again and had tears in my eyes. Thing is, because of her amazing voice, Ms Carlile's superb guitar playing goes under the radar. Her performances equal my hero, Bob Dylan's, at the height of his accoustic era. I can't praise anyone higher than that.
I love Roy Orbison's voice and/but I am so grateful for this cover. Brandi--what a voice, what a person!

Her voice is timeless.
I have never heard an Orbison cover I've liked. Until this. Not because she is better than Roy, but because she makes it her own. Different rhythm, diffferent vocals, different person. Same song, different ingredients, amazing outcome. What I don't understand is the lack of standing ovation.

What a brilliant cover! noticed she went falsetto on the second 'It's over'. Roy would hit it in full voice, but that's why his songs are so hard to cover, not many have the range. Fantastic stuff
