I didn't realize how fast Kriel was, until I saw the try at 9:13 and I saw Kriel keeping up with Kolbe.
Oof. A Pollard-Odendaal-Kriel combo could have been trouble with a few years together.
That Kriel Pollard combo at the bulls was deadly (Odendaal and Serfontein at 12 during those stages definitely also helped)

His defense this WC and that grubber to Kolbe was his magnum opus.
Not sure why people think Jesse is on steroids, he's not that big ( for a pro rugby player in his position, obviously a unit in general ) granted he's really lean which makes him look a lot bigger. His stats are similar to Lukhanyo Am and he's smaller then Damian de Allende and a lot smaller then Andre Esterhuizen. In fact he's smaller then Rieko Loane and Jordie Barrett as well, these guys are the top 0.1% of athletes so it makes sense that some of them are just freaks of nature.
He really matured in the 2023 WC

@@benoconnor3178 he’s 95kg m8 maybe he isn’t clean but quite frankly the physique he has can be achieved through a lot of work he’s smaller than most Bok centers, smaller than the AB centers, smaller than Danty, around same size as Fickou ect ect and everything you see from him is just the result of a lot of training, wether it’s the cardio, physique, technique ect ect

The Springboks have perfected the art of body building using steroids, and masking this from being detected by the governing body.... The other teams need to realize (as in cycling) you either need to stop this steroid use by the Springboks, or all the teams need to start cheating, in order to create a level playing field....

Wow, just because players look after themselves they are juicing. I remember Josh Lewsey in about 2004 taking his top off and being just as ripped.
