A question FudgeMuppet; Is this build telling me that I can become a vampire at the beginning, build my skills, go through the Dawnguard, and still accept the Vampire Lord's "gift", and then I can have the vampire form? I really need to understand that before I decide where I want to start a Vampire play series. Thank you!

This is... surprisingly close to the character I've been playing. She started out as a true daughter of Skyrim and a Companion, and then one bad vampire eradication job happened. One week later she's a vampire. She joined the Dawnguard hoping to find a cure, but the offer made by Harkon was just too tempting.
After that it was all downhill from there, and now she's something like a Frost Deathknight from WoW.

The whole surrendering the White Gold Concordat was for the preservation of the Empire as a whole. It was the only option in a time of no options no ensure the Empires survival. According to backstory and lore found elsewhere, before the Great War, Titus Mede was actually a VERY well respected and loved Emperor who was both a ruler and warrior much in the same vein as the Septims were, having wielded even Goldbrand meaning he survived Boethiah's trials and managed to win the Tournament of Blood slaying nine other Champions of Tamriel if he somehow managed to get his hands on the legendary blade meaning he was atleast skilled enough as a warrior to receive what is essentially Champion status from Boethiah her/himself. Even as a politician it seemed like given his personality, he would more likely take in the bastard child and simply exile the mother or hide the mother behind the scenes, but setting the child up for death and disaster just isn't in his character.

Definitely a fun sounding build. Though depending how I do it, I might roleplay the Temptress with a different backstory. It might start off similar to the backstory you've given, but a bit more twisted towards the end to give it a bit of familiarity with Elder Scrolls lore.
Instead of it being just a random vampire who bites her and turns her, what if it instead was Molag Bal in disguise? If this were the case, I guess you can assume what happens next.
After the ordeal he would leave her to die with a drop of blood on her brow, and three days later she would arise as a Daughter of Coldharbour. The ensuing bloodlust would result in her inadvertently devouring everyone in her hometown before coming to her senses. After realizing what she had done, she took whatever commodities she needed before moving on. She later would take joy in her vampiric abilities, and several sightings of her would be seen over the centuries: tall tales and legends of a beautiful woman with eyes the color of blood who ensnared and enslaved any man she deemed as "worthy," keeping them as servants to protect her and sustain her bloodlust, as well as legends of a wicked countess who kidnapped young girls and murdered them, draining their blood and bathing in it to stay forever youthful (unlike most vampires who appear haggard and hideous).
So similar to the original build in this video, except redone a bit to resemble that of Elizabeth Bathory and Lamae Bal. Add in a few vampire mods (such as Better Vampires and Dark Maneuvers) to enthrall and enslave new peons to do her bidding, and overall it's a pretty fun build to play.

I just finished my first playthrough and wound up similar to this character, but rather than starting as a fully formed vampiress I roleplayed towards it:
Our hero was the youngest daughter of a mixed marriage between a local Imperial gentleman and a famous Nordic beauty, on the border of the Empire and Skyrim. Leliana was called 'Nightingale' for her beautiful singing voice and grew up loving dances and beautiful clothes. Befitting her station, she had received some light defence training in magic and dagger combat. As she grew to adulthood the war between the Nords and Imperials destabilised her homeland and one day her hunting party was attacked by a group of deserted soldiers and bandits, leaving her parents dead and forcing her to flee into the mountains.
Before long she was captured by the Imperials and, despite protesting that she was an Imperial citizen and a lady, was sentenced to death. It seems that her properties had already been looted by the corrupt local military leader, and the existence of an heiress who could potentially file an official complaint was seen as inconvenient. The fact that she was half-Nord made this easy to swallow for all involved. Fortunately for Leliana, the arrival of Alduin saved her and, her faith in the Empire completely shattered, she chose to flee with Stormcloak.
Arriving in Whiterun to deliver her message, Leliana quickly gained the trust of the local Jarl and rose quickly, eventually attaining the rank of Thane after slaying a dragon. Over the coming months she settled in the city, solving local problems and forging a close friendship with her new retainer, Lydia. She was also able to learn some more combat from the local warrior's lodge (although she was soon repulsed at learning their dark secret). Eventually, she even bought a house and adopted a local street girl called Lucia.
All of this came to an end one day when Leliana was summoned before the Jarl to travel to High Hrothgar to see the Greybeards. Although the trip went without incident, on her way down the mountain she was caught in a blizzard and sought refuge in a cave, only to be attacked by a pack of vampires. Leliana was able to fight them off and get to safety, but not without sustaining a fateful wound on her left shoulder.
Waking that night to find that the blizzard had passed, Leliana realised the precariousness of her situation. She did not have detailed knowledge of vampires but knew she had been infected and needed to seek help. She walked for a night and a day to reach her home in Whiterun, only to fall into bed sick and exhausted. She awoke three days later to Lydia's concerned face asking if she was alright. Confused and feeling a strange hunger like none she had felt before, Leliana allowed Lydia to help her to her feet. Then, intoxicated by the smell of warm blood, she sank her teeth into her best friend's neck; satiating her thirst and leaving the drained corpse of her best friend on the floor.
As the euphoria of her first feeding abated, Leliana retched in horror at what she had become. Aghast, she fled the city in the dead of night and headed to the hills around Iverstaad, where she hid herself away, emerging only at night to feed on the unfortunate visitors. While in the village, she heard rumours of the Dawnguard, a group dedicated to fighting vampirism. In desperation and perhaps self loathing, Leliana decided that they would know a way to help her or at least end her misery. On her way to the castle she fell in with a group of applicants and found herself being sent on a mission to a crypt, convincing herself that proving she could be trusted would perhaps prevent the Dawnguard from killing her out of hand.
The mission to the crypt led to the awakening of a powerful ancient vampire, Serana. Leliana had always been captivated by charismatic women and quickly agreed to take Serana back to her home, the ancient castle Volkihar. Over the weeks travelling by horse and ship, Serana spoke to Leliana of the pleasure and power to be found in undeath. Leliana found herself becoming closer to her fellow vampire and, perhaps aided by the dark influence of Molag Bal upon her mind, gradually found herself smiling when Serana spoke of her exploits with the 'cattle'. After arriving at Castle Volkihar, Serana's father offered a more powerful but irrevocable form of vampirism to Leliana. Although disgusted, the previous weeks had influenced her mind and, nodding in acquiescence, she gave herself over to darkness.
She made herself at home in the castle, dining extravagantly on human flesh and blood. Finding herself embroiled in Harkon's quest to put out the sun, she spent the next year travelling Skyrim with Serana becoming better acquainted with her new abilities. At one point, her quest even took her to Winterhold where, in addition to granting the dark gift to the local innkeeper's wife, she was able to fully develop her magical abilities, becoming a true spell-warrior. In the end, it was discovered that Harkon's plan involved the death of Serana and, fiercely loyal to her 'sister', she destroyed the vampire lord.
With her humanity and even her former name now a distant memory, the vampiress known as Lady Nightingale has become one of the most feared monster in all of Skyrim. Notorious for her dedication to pleasure, debauchery and the taste of human flesh, it is said that not a drop of human decency remains in her blood-red eyes. However, back in Whiterun, once a month a care package arrives addressed to Lucia; the little street-girl who called her 'mama' long ago.

But I got just a tad bored and needed to mix things up. Along comes the Vampire Temptress. I have never leveled Illusion at all. Never had a reason to. It is remarkable. The play style of thus build alone is just fabulous. To come upon a group of bandits, for example, who are just hanging around chatting and 10 seconds later they are at each other's throats straight up murdering one another and when only one is left standing you jump from the shadows to remove their head. It is so satisfying. To add the vampire aspect, which I have never touched, and was on the fence about, makes role playing a lot of fun and the bonuses are hard to pass up. Thank you for this.

My personal fave style right now combines this build with a spell sword build.
I love having my vampire girl sneaking up on enemies, long range handled by the bound bow, short range with a dagger or sword (Harkon's preferred), and lightning spells to take care of mid range. Specialize in assassination, no stranger to open combat, willing to learn any spells but will experiment with illusion to cause havoc and go invisible to escape or take out stronger enemies. Light armor, enchanted to make the most of archery, one handed, destruction, and muffle. Lightning hits hard and fast wit few enemies resistant to it makes up for it higher cost.

gonna add (what i think are) the best black book effects below.
    1)Winds of Change: Lover’s Insight.
this is ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE as it causes you to do 10% more damage to the opposite sex and better prices while buying from the opposite sex. Perfect lore-wise and also just crazy powerful
    2) Epistolary Acumen: Dragonborn Frost. Makes Frost Breath shout freeze enemies solid. this one isn’t too important for RP, but it’s definitely more effective than Dragonborn Flame or Force.
    3) Filament and Filigree: Secret of Sorcery. Adds a power that makes spells cost no magicka for 30sec.
    4) Hidden Twilight: Mora’s Grasp can freeze an enemy for 30sec and makes them immune to damage. helpful for stealth.
    5) Sallow Regent: Sorcery/Shadows increases your effectiveness by 10% in whichever you pick. which one you pick will depend on how you’ve enchanted your equipment
    6) Untold Legends: Black Market lets you summon a Dremora merchant to trade with you. Sounds useless, but since this build puts no points into stamina, your carry weight will be low and this WILL prove useful in lengthier dungeons, or alternatively you can summon him while imprisoned and buy cheap gear to help the escape or something.
Untold Legends: Bardic Knowledge will consistently restore your stamina during the daytime, but if you follow the build your healing spells should do this anyway. id opt to just keep a few stamina potions on hand for emergencies instead

I'm a console player, xbox one to be exact. The vampire character that I have. Is more of a Vampire Knight, turned Queen. She's not completely good, but not completely evil either. She started out as a brutal warrior in the Companions. She liked the raw power of being a werewolf, but didn't quite like the way the temptation of the hunt clouded her focus. So she, along with Farkas and Vilkas cured themselves of their beast forms.
It was during a job given to her by Farkas to clear out a vampire hideout. That was infected by the vampire lord of the hideout. Fresh out of disease potions, and miles away from the nearest shrine. Her fate as vampire was sealed during the ride back to Whiterun. She managed to hide her condition from most people, but she was unable to resist the thirst for very long.
I would go on about Serana, overthrowing Harkon and becoming a ruler of the Volkihar clan, and eventually emperoress of all vampires.
I'm the better vampires mod, and the Castle Volkihar redux mod. The better vampires mod, really allows you to roleplay as a vampire.

I have a suggestion for the next remastered build. The Vampire Hunter is one of my favorite builds in theory, but it was a little lackluster in practice so, here's my attempt at remastering a build.
The Vampire Hunter is a Nord male, born in the Cyrodil(race and gender doesn't really matter, I just wanted to make a Nord). His was a hard birth, and his mother sadly passed soon after. His father, a hunter by trade, raised him on his own in their small house in the woods a few miles from the city. He would leave the house, bow in hand and axe sheathed, just long enough to make a kill and rush home to his newborn son. This was enough to care for the two of them until the Vampire Hunter came of an age to learn his father's trade. Once he was old enough to draw a bow, his father took him hunting on almost every trip. He quickly became proficient with a bow, and practiced swinging his father's axe when they weren't hunting or trading what they could in the markets. It was a rather peaceful life, until tragedy struck. In the dead of the darkest night the Vampire Hunter had witnessed, a feral vampire attacked their home. The Vampire Hunter would be dead, had it not been for a squeaky bolt on the door. This alerted the father and son, but the vampire pounced before either could knock an arrow. The Vampire Hunter's father was knocked to the floor and drained in a matter of seconds. The Vampire Hunter loosed an arrow directly into the head of the vampire, knocking it away from the corpse of his father. He grabbed his father's axe and started hacking wildly at the beast, fueled by rage and grief, until he realized he was hacking at nothing. The vampire had dissolved into dust soon after the first blow. The Vampire Hunter buried his father the next morning. He grabbed what few supplies he could carry and set off for the city. He stumbled into the crowd, bumping into people here and there until one man gently grabbed his shoulder instead of continuing on his way. "I see grief and hate in your eyes," the man said. "Come to the temple of Arkay if you wish for healing." The man, a priest of Arkay vanished into the crowd before the Vampire Hunter could say anything. He soon took up the priest's offer, eventually even becoming a initiate himself once his supplies ran out. He was taught how to heal others who visited the temple, until one visitor caught the attention of the young Hunter. He told the Vampire Hunter that he was traveling to Skyrim to join the Dawngaurd, a band of vampire hunters from an age long forgotten, but was attacked just outside the city by one. The man was lucky to be alive and thanked the priests before continuing his journey. The Vampire Hunter expressed his desire to leave the temple and join the Dawngaurd when he came of age, and though the priests did not wish to see the young initiate start such a dangerous path, they would not stop him. The time came, and the priests packed him enough supplies to make it to Skyrim and blessed him one final time before the Vampire Hunter started his dangerous journey. After being captured and taken to Helgen, the Hunter realized how easily his life could have ended but saw it as a sign from Arkay to continue his path.
I've decided to focus on four main skills for this playthrough: Restoration, Heavy Armor, One-Handed and Archery. Smithing and Enchanting can be included if you want. For Restoration, take the middle branch up to adept restoration, since the two main spells of this build are adept level, and take the perk that also restores stamina when you heal (it's called respite if I'm not mistaken). For Heavy Armor the goal is to eventually take everything, but prioritize Conditioning and Matched Set. For One-Handed, take the middle branch to Savage Strike and the branch that adds bleed damage to war axes. For Archery, take everything but focus on the left branch first. The Vampire Hunter will wear full Dawngaurd Heavy armor including the Full Helm and wield a Dawngaurd War Axe in one hand, and a Restoration spell in the other. He'll use the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow before anything gets within melee range. For spells, I use Stendar's Aura, Vampire's Bane and Close Wounds.
I think that covers everything. Feel free to change whatever you'd like if you think it would improve the build or backstory. Happy Hunting!
Edit: Auriel's Bow or maybe even Zephyr can be used as well, I just prefer the crossbow.

An idea you've probably thought of but I think we'd like to see it: consider doing more mod builds based around the perks in Ordinator, or using other mods, spell mods etc. I don't think as many people are playing vanilla any more.
