Amanda Redman Meets Desmond St Ledger - Who Do You Think You Are?

Amanda heads to Cornwall to meet a member of the St. Ledger family, Desmond, a second cousin, who knew Cyril when he was a baby.
Amanda Redman is an English actress, perhaps best known for her role as Sandra Pullman in the BBC One series New Tricks. Amanda's father died in 1980, when Amanda was in her mid-teens and since then she has never felt able to ask her mother about her family's past. The little information she did pick up while growing up was based only on gossip and hearsay. There were rumours of illegitimacy in the family, an abusive grandfather and mysterious uncles.
For this episode of Who Do You Think You Are?, Amanda will go across the country, meeting up with a variety of family members to discover the truth of her mysterious past.

Dear Desmond certainly does drive slowly. When he talks to Amanda he turns to look straight at her and doesn't notice the road. I'm afraid I'm going to get in a wreck with him and I'm not even in the car
