Rarran, RegisKillbin, Zeddy, trump, thijs, kripp and other hearthstone youtubers all play different hs gamemodes. Duels, Battlegrounds, Standard, Arena and Wild are in the game that can new cards from new expansions to climb and win HS games.

Seriously, just compare it to Runeterra or MTGA. Both are leaps and bounds ahead of HS, with Runeterra being far, far cheaper and more f2p friendly as well.
Hey rarran, could you troll someone by giving them the play sound of a card, and then the attack sound of the same card, and then making them have to guess if the card is correct or not with the same card aswell?
Might as well throw in the art, while he's at it !
This might be tough cause all the sounds are so distinct it will be very hard to find two that sound similar. Murlocs might be good at it
Maybe two who used the same voice actor could fit
I think LanguageHacker was overthinking stuff the most out of all contenders so far expecting every card to have multiple changes, mindgames, trolling and basically thinking that Rarran is 5 steps ahead while he was actually just standing perfectly still.

srsly. as a caster he's awesome. basically anything where he gets to show how smart or good he is, he's awesome at it. as soon as there is even a whisper of an implication that he's wrong, or bad, or that he lost...he kinda turns into a toddler lmao.

Even when Glacial Mysteries was added to your hand by random spell generation it was still completely unplayable. The card basically read “Get -1 max hand size”
yup, when I play Wild Thief Rogue and pull this, it's so goddamn annoying because I never have the mana to throw it away

Except in kobolds and catacombs dungeon run where I turned it into a random legendary with golden kobold.
With Glinda Crowskin, whenever something says "your minions" it is by default means minions on board. So it would have to specify "in hand" in order to be worded properly
This is incorrect. Emerald hive queen says "Your minions cost (2) more.", and affects the hand but not the board.
Also LH makes a good point, you can't play minions that are on board so "in hand" is redundant
@@panthermonium3845 This made me wonder... what happens if you play an evolve effect with Hive Queen on board?
@@maxim.b More or less. If there was a card with an effect like "destroy a minion with echo", then with Glinda in play that card would be able to kill any minion. I don't think that there are actually any cases where the distinction would matter though.
mtg makes the distinction between creature, creature spell, and creature card, but it seems that hearthstone isn't quite that consistent yet. hearthstone prioritizes at-a-glance readability over technical consistency, so piggybacking off of LH, i also think blizzard would be content with "your minions have echo" for its simplicity

Languagehacker needs to come back for a redemption at some point. He definitely got those disputed ones wrong. At least he made good use of the rope and thought about what points to attack.

I think that since the art and sounds portion is so difficult, that you should move them to the end. Having the guest fail right off the bat doesn't help build any sort of momentum

This was a hilarious video, but to make things easier for yourself, perhaps stick to 1 error per card and say that at the start a la "If there is an error on the card, there is only ever one" to save yourself time and agony lol
There is always only "one thing" wrong, like in this video because the card text and attack value goes together for that card. For some reason language were looking for multiple things being wrong on every card even though he found what was off about it, but I don't remember rarran doing that before? For the card in this video it makes total sense. Two aspects being changed and naming one is a point anyways if you ask me. Changing several things that aren't related only makes it easier to see the card is wrong so there's no reason.
@@ottojagenstedt9740 Rarran has done 2 different things wrong on a card before but not all the time, and he will usually give people a chance to find both things if they only give him one guess.
@@danielglidewell He stopped making multiple things wrong with cards because in one video someone kept asking if there was a single thing wrong or not and he got caught out when he couldn't answer because the card was correct. I think it was Alliestrasza's video. But yeah, only time he does multiple things wrong now is when then two things are linked, so to change one you'd have to change the other.

Rarran, I have not played HS since 2019 but watching your videos bring back so much Nostalgia! Gg wp man! Also, back in the day, Amaz used to make a Jeopardy style video series inviting HS streamers (Even got Ben Brode once). You should either colab with him or make one of your own with categories like Sound, Art, Fake cards etc and invite old content creators like this!!!

i love these videos, but my favorite is when you talk to other card game players like runeterra/mtg and see those cards. i think its so fascinating personally and got me to try MTGA and runeterra recently, runeterras awesome!!

He just changed the "Discover" to "Add" but forgot to add "to your hand" to the end of the sentence. Because "add" cards *ALWAYS* need their target condition written out in the card. Where do you add it to? your hand? your deck? your crotch? your breakfast bowl?
