- Disney, Netflix, Amazon, and other studios rejected "Sound of Freedom," producer Eduardo Verástegui said in an exclusive interview at the Turning Point Action Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, over the weekend. He gave glory to God for His faithfulness and the success of the movie.
God is still in control... Always
EVERYONE SHOULD SUPPORT THIS MOVIE..
Totally agree. I went to support the film but also to support this guy for his perseverance and the little Indy studio that Disney sued into bankruptcy. It's tough to make it for independent films.
He prayed for a miracle and God sent him Angel Studio... seems pretty clear cut ti me.
It almost didn't happen. Disney sued Angel studios into bankruptcy a couple years ago. They restarted the company again thankfully. Great story how Eduardo peddled the film independently in private screenings in Mexico Spain London before getting a phone call from small town USA. LoL
I have to extend my utmost respect and thanks to this man for his endurance, all those who took part in producing this film, and especially to Tim Ballard who is the hero behind rescuing these children, getting the traffickers behind bars, and waking up the world to this most heinous crime of child s*x trafficking. I saw this movie, and every child I see becomes that much more precious. And most of all Thank you God for removing the obstacles so the world can see the truth
Saw it here in Canada and it was very good ...not all the theaters have it here but it was well attended
Yeah there's not many cinema that's showing it so I had to go outta my way just to support the cause and the Indy studio Disney tried to bury. There's only maybe a dozen cinemas in Canada showing it.
I think the delay was a blessing in diguise...good time for it to come out while all the other lies are swirling around
God's timing is impeccable.
That's hilarious. He had to go to Provo, Utah to get the film released. But praise God, it's released and is extremely successful. Hopefully they have the muscle now to release it globally.
His story how he got the film a cinema screening is more entertaining than the movie itself. I bought a ticket to support the cause but mostly to support him for his perseverance and the little Indy studio which Disney sued into bankruptcy couple years ago. Frankly Angel studios is so small I don't even know how they convinced theaters to give the movie a screening.
