- the build of my 1996 BMW R1100GS continues, in this episode I fit the Oxford Adventure Premium heated grips, the Lampa 57803 H4 LED Head Light and Lampa 90533 auxiliary lights and a pair of NH-T Hand Guards. All necesary for some proper adventure riding because who knows what can happen on the road.

I have owned BMW cars and motorcycles. Working on a BMW is a different feeling to me. Always feels like I am working on something special. Even better when restoring an old bimmer :)

I believe you will see a massive improvement in the lighting performance of your LED headlight having your transparent plastic headlight cover polished either by using a DIY solution or by taking it an appropriate workshop.Nice job anyways! Keep up!
Actually, the transparent headlight cover is glass, but with it like this there's already been a huge improvement to the lighting.
Seemed a bit yellow-ish.. 😁 so I quickly overlooked that BMW and glass =makes sense 😁
I need to replace my heated grips on my r1100gs, going to use Oxford instead of the originals, also good idea using the old heated grips switch to power your spot lights 👌👍
The oxford ones really work a treat on this bike or any bike for that matter. 😁

I know this is an old video but I wanted to ask, did you have to modify the loom to install the headlight? Or is it plug and play for the 1100?
I wish to upgrade my headlight to led for led power consumption and brighter light and wanted to know before I start ripping the front apart :)

It was a plug and play, it uses the H4 power conector.

What happened to the heat sink for the LED bulb?
It went on after i put the rubber grommet on.
I need to find a pair of side metal plates that the windshield mounts on (seen right above the indicators when the windshield is removed) because mine broke. Anyone has an idea what they are called or the part number?
I'm also looking for those :)

Proiectoarele comandate de la Lampa si au fost cam 100 de euro si setul de 2 becuri H4 cam la fel.
