No shit, sherlock...You do know that that (minus Motorhead) is what Ted en Fenriz are trying to achieve right? Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Bathory and Venom are the sound they are trying to keep alive/revive. Everybody knows this :)

I realize you wrote this 7 years ago, but if you see this: You really don't enjoy Crossing the Triangle of Flames, Under a Funeral Moon, Triumphant Gleam, entire TOTAL DEATH album? I'll agree not to speak of Goatlord haha. Claws of time? Rust, Fucked Up and Ready to Die, Divided We Stand, Sjakk Matt Jesu Krist, Straightening Sharks in Heaven, Alle gegen Alle, Sacrificing to the God of Doubt, Rawness Obsolete??? Start a black metal band. Change the sound of said band completely. Start a new band that sounds just like the band that you recently changed the sound of. Seems legit.
Darkthrone didn't start out as a Black Metal band, they were a Death Metal band through and through until they put out A Blaze in The Northern Sky, and even then Fenriz feels like they were just a Death Metal band playing with a Black metal aesthetic on that album.
They were "death metal through and through until they put out a blaze" Sooooo... 3 demos and one full length spanning 3 years, followed by 20 years of black metal. Right, my mistake. Easy to forget about those shitty demos, but I will say that soulside was pretty decent.
