- Season 2 is just a few days away, so I put together a street fighter 6 season 1 tier list with my friend and fellow content creator Shinlad.

Criteria for ranking characters? ILLEGAL! Context for the tierlist? ILLEGAL! how can you let your biases wildly sway your decisions when you have clear guidelines? Will there even be controversy where someone says "bro bro but what about this move?"
I'm really hyped to get back into to the game and try out the changes.

dude I have 1500 hours in SF6, swapped to Tekken when it came out (300 hours played), Im coming back to SF6 when they buff Honda I said that when Tekken released and I say that now. Just sayin I'm super interested in Honda's buffs
Which do you prefer between both games?
Hondas dumb stuff got nerfed but his actual normals got better so it evens out. You better like playing footsies now 😁
Guile is the less fun character to fight against. It is even worse than Honda. In good hands is extremely powerful, and incredibly hard to touch. Bottom S at minimum, IMO.
Blanka has been at least A since the beggining of SF6. People who don't want to play him for how goofy he looks are just losing a lot for pure prejudice. Most fun character in the game, IMO.
Only thing keeping me from putting guile S is how hard it is to win with him in top 8, he has to be on POINT vs someone like JP and Luke

No quotes necessary, this is what an algorithm actually is in the general sense - just a set of rules and instructions to accomplish a task or solve a problem.
When toddlers sort their toys by color or size, they're using an algorithm to accomplish that. When you make a grilled cheese sandwich, you have an algorithm for assembling the ingredients and making substitutions if necessary.
Algorithms are central to software - computer programs use all sorts of algorithms to solve all sorts of problems.
When people talk about "The Algorithm" in a social media context, they're just specifically talking about the recommendation algorithms that curate users' social media feeds.
People say Ken's st hp is a war crime and one of the best buttons in the game but then y'all turn around and say Ryu doesn't have a button you always need to be thinking about? Ken and Ryu have functionally the same st hp and cr mk. What's with the mental gymnastics on this character? He's not bad. B tier is correct simply from his damage potential.
For me it’s the fact that Ken has ways to steal his turn back after st HP (can do dragonlash or check your matchup knowledge with different versions of jinrai kicks)
@@Chris_F that's why Ken is S tier behind Luke, Chun, and Deejay. Ken #4. Ryu has good buttons, solid neutral, and a shitload of damage. B+ tier. The buffs they gave him earlier this year helped and the buffs next season are going to push him into A imo.
@@ParabolaTool Ryu doesnt have the gimmicks Ken does. One throw from Ken puts you in the corner. one combo from Ken puts you in the corner.
Kens drive rush>>>>>>Ryus. Ken has insane corner damage. Only thing Ryu has over Ken is zoning, but whats even crazy is Kens weaker zoning actually works for him, coz his DR is so fast he can actually DR after an OD firball and perform a confirm a combo on PC.
Ryu is cool, but he isnt doing half the gimmicks the top tiers are doing.
@MunaAzuki also Ryu has to do tatsu ender for oki and it has pretty poor carry. Ken does run tatsu, gets carry AND oki. It’s just so much better than what Ryu can do
@@Chris_F I didn't call Ryu top tier I just said he's good and will be better next season for sure. I wish more characters felt like Guile or Ryu in this game.
I am a Gen main from USF4. playing Jamie would be be way more fun if he could "swap drink stance" somewhat like Gen changed stances. Free cost, much quicker, free cancel into anything (IIRC) from stance change animation, etc. But that's what Chun li is to a limited extent. They took Gen's mechanic and split it.
While I won't disregard that Luke is S tier we can all agree that he is but in terms of him getting tournament wins it's not so much, especially in offline where the biggest events he hardly wins much of them even tho there is a good high number of Luke players in them. I also feel that way for Chun-li as well but in a different way.
Personally if I were to put any character next to Luke in S tier it would be Chun-li & Dee Jay. Before the big 3 use to be Luke, Ken & JP but now it's these 3 (Luke, Chun-li & Dee Jay).
At least you guys aren't trying to sabotage Chun Li, unlike Brian_F and Vesperarcade

@@lorcanman They got her in A tier. That's about right. Those two galuts had RIGHT after Luke in S tier. Plus she has no winning tournament uses. Relax.
