I find it hard to believe tigers are so easily seen in Bandhavgarh National Park. I was there 12 years ago in December and never saw a single tiger. I talked to people who had gone on 3 safaris and never saw a tiger. In fact no visitor that I met at the park had seen a tiger. I even talked to some villagers who said that they hadn't seen a tiger in 2 years and others who said they have never seen a single tiger! Bandhavgarh must have re-stocked their park with some zoo tigers or imported some tigers from elsewhere. The safari was a waste of time with a caravan of jeeps that would scare away any wild animal. Most of the time you were just breathing the dust from the jeep in front of you.
