This time we shall give Spore Druid a go. Druids are a class I have extremely little experience with, so we shall see how it goes. I did an early wipe at the very first fight outside the Grove, so we are off to a rough start. This is technically run 2, but since the first ended so fast I don't really count it.

And here I was still laughing at how these minotaurs are jumping into their deaths until one of them decides to one shot your poor druid. See you later, space cowboy 🫡
Haha yeah, worked really good up to that point. Will have to open with a surprise round on the one that is not vuln to bludgeon and do some damage prior to jumping down. Should solve that issue!

Yeah, that crit really caught me by surprise. Was over so fast that I mainly giggled a bit 😅. Spores real fun and unique!
@@FriendlyLich Was having in mind using a spore druid but i usually like to do full RP themed character will all the fitting looks name and choices ingame that would match the character and so far couldn't come up with anything interesting for a spore build xD
@@Nek-oski I like putting some thoughts into my characters as well. Makes it a lot more immersive and enjoyable:)

Clearly the fatal flaw in this run was the failure to use Spike Growth. 😉
Seriously though, the Minotaur, Hook Horrors and the Bulette are really nasty for their level.
It might have made a difference with spike growth to be honest! But what's done is done 😅

I do like your videos. I am right now trying to run as halfling divination wizard. My idea was to lure these guys to Selene outpost gates with the cat so statues could burn them both. Also would be nice to see your wizard run)

that happened in one of my dnd games as well lol. The sorcerer got crit by a minotaur and went from full health to -full hp in one hit, dying on the spot with no death saves or anything. Minotaur crits are nastyyy
Sad to see this one finish so early, it was very cool to watch it while it lasted though. The reaction potions were always hilarious.

@@holynoob9211 Long story short, the game entered a soft-lock. The combat got stuck in a goblins round and just would not continue. Waited quite awhile, hit main menu and loaded again .Still stuck :(
@@FriendlyLich Sometimes enemies doing nothing during their turn and game skips it after few seconds. Turns out it bugged for you ;c

Ah, well, a little maybe but I could have handled that better. If I would had opened on the other minotaur and gotten it a bit lower before jumping done it all would had ended a lot different. Crits are just deadly as hell on this level.
Learned something from this death at least! The jump part worked great!

I just started a Druid Solo too =( Sadly I aggroed the grove when I tried to steal Silvanus Statue.
Ouch! That trick takes a little practice to go smooth. I practiced it in a regular game until I could do it without trouble.

Yes, was thinking afterwards that I could had used spike growth and a darkness arrow on top of me to force them to run through it instead of jump over.
I wanna see you do a abjuration wizard with 1 level in warlock/sorcerer for armor of agathys, and go a reflect/spellcaster build :)
That sounds interesting. Run around and eat damage to reflect stuff?
@@FriendlyLichI think it oculd work :D Either stoneskin or bladeward+haste and that abjuration ward is strong... But I haven't tried play it :)

Yeah same same, really thought I would survive 1 hit from it. Just squashed poor Miran :(. I'm going for a new class (need some variation, specially in act 1), but I'm not against running spore again if I run into death once more

Yeah so damn close, really thought I’d survive a hit so I could end the Minotaur. I think I’ll give spore another go at a later time, necromancer is next. Need some variation, don’t wanna run the same thing over and over so I grow tired of it

Dude I keep dying too on solo honour mode lol. But i finished solo on tatician so I could save because I still died a lot lol. I did a 2 fighter, 5 warlock and 5 paladin built and was okish. Im going to try honour again soon.
Yeah it takes a lot of practice but sometimes it only come down to luck. But dying is a part of the challenge so I don’t mind it that much even if it stink briefly. Game breaking bugs however 😤

Yes. I’ll run necromancer as my main build and occasionally stream whatever the poll decides.
Gg. I see you're experiencing the same problem I did literally a day or two ago - an attack from hiding that SHOULD HAVE triggered Surprised state but for some strange f-cking reason doesn't. I THINK it's got something to do with attacking from turn-based mode(?). Next run same build, or something else entirely? :)
It's rough when that happens on such dangerous fights. It might be that, I recall someone mentioning that if you save stealth roll or are too far away it wont trigger surprise either.
What happened here with surprise was that she was outside of its sight, so it didn't spot her. Then a turn passed (it healed up) and she got close enough for it to spot her. So the attack didn't start the fight. The minotaur spotting her did. If in turnbased and your shot doesn't start the fight immediately walk into its sightcone (and hope to NOT succeed on a stealth roll).

nahhh it was just unluckiness from the minotaur not insta dying from that jump. i was just teasin cus everyone was talkin about how strong spike growth was in all these videos, haha :p
