Spoiler warning:
The fact that he gets bigger and bigger as the movie progresses is very hilarious
Amazing what a tailor CAN'T conceal
I can imagine that his punishment in prison will be him only eating vegetables and his wife making him extreme exercise!
I feel like he’s the movie’s version of Augustus gloop or his descendant
Descendant? This is a prequel
He means Augustus’ father or something
Easily one of the best villain songs I've heard. Perfectly captures the absurdity of the Chocolate Mafia. Such a charming song.
Top 3 Villain songs of 2023:
Joint 1st: Peaches (Bowser) and Sweet Tooth (The Chocolate Cartel)
2nd: This Is The Thanks I Get?! (King Magnifico)
3rd: Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O’ Hara)
@@FunnyYellowHatManweeeeeeiweeeeeieeewewwwww. Weeeweeeeieeew (that's my spider man 2099 impression do you like it)
@@FunnyYellowHatManalso I'm sorry and I respect your opinions but also I hate you because you're so incredibly wrong about the wish song
@@okaymars116 it just sounds pretty sweet, but I think it would suit Plankton from SpongeBob.
@@FunnyYellowHatManreplace the wish song with mount rageous by velvet and veneer
I know they are villains but they are utterly adorable, and this song is my personal favourite in the film
Ive always said
Not all villians have to be menacing or scary
They just have to have bad intentions
@@FilmReactor although humerous, this is still a menacing song
I was hoping for much darker, menacing medley .
Not Slugworth, prodnose and Fickelgruber are cute
@@raf6213 Fickelgruber, at least. 😂
I was smiling through this scene, best scene in the film imo
I was smiling through the entire movie 😅
The chief was real cornered in this movie 🤭
In my opinion, the best part of the movie, art sections with the Oompa Loompa

Funniest part this song is when he sings “well we’ve got everything you need” with that smirk on his face lol
And the wink lol
I agree
I lost it when he sings "Why am I singing?" 🤣
This song really sold the entire movie for me. I was grinning so much during this song and when they break out into a burlesque type performance it's sooo perfect!
Big finale, boys!!
It was my sons favorite of the show!
The “Oh, deal” at the end kills me every time. I mean, I’d be fine getting bribed with chocolate, I don’t know about you…
Wonka would be an amazing stage musical. I truly hope they release a stage version. I've got so many thoughts of how this song particularly could be adapted for the stage.
I completely agree!!! I would travel literally anywhere to see this show on stage
i thought the same exact thing when i heard this song. i need to see this on stage
The way it's designed was clearly with a broadway musical in mind. Just look at how the Gallery Gourmet and Wonka's shop are set up. Wide open spaces with interesting but not distracting backdrops. Add to that the choreographed dances to go with the musical numbers and all the typical musical story beats. A few things might need to be trimmed down (like the giraffe and the chocolate vault), but this is definitely meant to have a stage adaptation.
I'd love a stage adaptation of this
This is hands down the best musical bit in the whole movie, the scenery and actors really make it alive and entertaining
I don’t know about hands down. I think that argument could hold true for pretty much any song in the movie
@@OG_Helldiver True, I’m just a sucker for these types of songs I guess lol

Best line lol
Matt Lucas is amazing.
This literary my fav part in the whole movie lol I still loved the movie tho
I've read somewhere that "Sweet Tooth" is Neil Hannon's favorite in the film. I love it, too... Actually, all of the songs he wrote for the movie, I love them all. It's like I'm listening to a new Divine Comedy song. Haha.
Even the one that’s not his, Pure Imagination, he reworked and it sounds like his!! Seriously to have as an identifiable sound as that, I can only think of Randy Newman. Amazing 😍
This song stayed in my head after seeing the movie yesterday. I feel like I have more than one sweet tooth. 😆
I’m still singing it.
You've got sweet teeth, just like me
I think I have 32 sweet teeth
I am telling you this whole movie had some banger music and this is another highlight. Keegan Michael Key was hilarious in this song and even the villains did great too. It sounds so serious and comedic at the same time.
Agreed!!
@@jovantehollins5786 I can't wait to buy it when it comes out xD
Love that Keegan Key is showing he can vanish into a role. Like, the dude has such a unique voice and face that I could instantly tell it was him, but once I got past that initial 'it's him' I only saw the corrupt captain of the guard.
I swear at this point in the movie I was about to jump out of my seat and start dancing😂❤😅
I love Paterson Joseph's voice. The way "a hundred of your favorites" just rolls off his tongue at 0:38.
MAT BAYNTON SLAYED
As he always does
He sure did
This song had me giggling and kicking my feet like :3
REAL
I knew I'd find his simps somewhere, everyone's first TV crush lol
Can't blame him, 1800 boxes of expensive chocolates is a very tempting offer.
“The only thing that brings you joy” - thinking about that line makes me feel bad for the police chief. He seems like a decent enough fellow, but nothing else in the world brings him joy
"Don't look at your waistline, it's fine, who needs to see their feet" was so fun!
Toes
As a 30 year old with a sweet tooth, I confirm that I most definitely can be bribed by 1800 boxes of chocolate. Just saying. #sweettooththings
I would be bribed for less, I’m amazed the restraint he had before that number
1800 boxes of chocolate? I would feed the whole of Africa with it
@@UnknownUser-ef6gc Oh yes 😅😅🤣, definitely yes.
@@theUserdudex1800 boxes? Oh deal
Honestly, I think 300 would have been my breaking point.
As long as it’s a variety of chocolates. If it’s just one flavor, it’d be a hard pass. I’d get sick of them after 20.
I'm Japanese, but I love this song. I can't get it out of my head. I don't watch the same movies, but I went to see it for the third time today. The movie is great, but this song is especially great.
I love all the people who made the movie.

Does anybody keep replaying the part where Prodnose (I think? I get the three guys’ names mixed up) says “The only thing that brings you joy?” How he says “joy” tickles my brain. Maybe it’s just me.

This scene & song performance was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT + HILARIOUS. The dude who wrote the songs for this movie deserves LOTS OF AWARDS. Also, The critics who said Wonka was horrible were DEAD WRONG. Wonka EASILY COULD BE ONE OF GREATEST MOVIES OF ALL TIME. EASILY.
This is the best song of the film for me
