Your collection is so inspiring, Luke. As someone who finally redid his whole display lately (but still isn’t done!), it’s lovely to see all that you can do with your display. Can’t wait to upgrade mine with your hexagon stands!
Looks better, and space/room is the biggest enemy of any collector rich or poor.

I've got to get a handle on my collection, I've got stacks of black series figures in our second bedroom I just don't have room to get my figures out of packaging and store them till I get that room cleaned out and cleaned up.
Maybe a storage tote or two under our bed will give me the room I need to get that back room reorganized. I don't know why that didn't occur to me till you mentioned you have it. 🤔
Thanks for sharing your storage issues with us. If I use your idea for just short term, I can get the majority of that room fixed up the way I want and get more shelving in there and straighten up the shelves I've got there already. That packaging takes up a bit of room.
Thanks again Luke I'll have to let you know if I can make some progress in that room. I've been doing a bit at a time because of my health and lack of storage space. Probably won't be able to start until after the new year, gotta concentrate on holiday shopping for family at this time.

Thanks for posting and sharing your collection! Man, I really like the organization you do behind the scenes. I have my entire collection put away (for now) and I have them stored in their original boxes. I’m tempted to get rid of the boxes and do bags for space-saving reasons. Something for me to think about… thanks!

So awesome! Looks fantastic. Detolfs are going extinct, so if you ever decide to sell them you won't have a problem if you regret buying them.
Or keep the detolfs for doramas!
Often I look at a toy collector display and think it is a mess. Rows and rows of cluttered figures that all blend together- not very museum like at all!
But you’ve fixed that problem. Yes. There are a ton of toys- but displayed on these tiers solved all the problems. Now a person can truly enjoy the large number of figures because they are displayed so well and grouped intelligently. It’s FUN, not overwhelming. Excellent job.

I think you made a good move not going the all-detolf route. I've seen quite a few videos of people's detolfs shattering a few years after owning them, and you'd risk damaging figures and having to clean up a ton of shattered glass.
Plus, I've seen people FILL their detolfs up, and it honestly looks a bit overwhelming and almost "cluttered" since you can see the figures from all sides.

I haven't heard of detolfs shattering before. I have 3 of them and they're going strong. I do agree that over stuffing them looks very chaotic. I have a few shelves that might fall under that catagory though :)

You're lucky you were even able to get a Detolf, here in Australia, they just... disappeared after the inferior replacement hit shelves! I love rearranging my displays, and chronology or "eras" is always a good choice. It's just... tidier, while still giving you room to be creative.

I bought 4 Detolfs, built one, and the others have been leaning against a wall in their boxes for over 5 years.
I find the one I built to just be kinda cheap looking 😂.

Interesting…according to Wookiepedia: “The name Oxixo was first used in the Star Wars Legends continuity for an action figure in the "Battle Over Endor" playset released by Hasbro as part of their 2010 Star Wars: Shadows of the Dark Side toy line. The figure was of a TIE fighter pilot bearing Oxixo's distinctive silver helmet crest but was described by the set's packaging as taking part in the Battle of Endor,making it a distinct character from the pilot who perishes in A New Hope.”
But technically in terms of on-screen canon I suppose you’re correct!

Always love collections that are displayed chronologically like that, I think keeping the OT and PT/CW shelves pure was a good call.
