An operetta I've enjoyed from years ago..lovely to see it given a spruce up...and a good job too!

Edwin as Elvis with the pelvic thrusts on 'tink a tank' -- love it!

Nice production! Well played and sung by the actors. The orchestra, though could use another month's practicing. Sack the lead clarinetist, find one that can control the horn, and for goodness sake play the parts on the 'A' Clarinet as written!

I don't think it is that well sung. The Defendant is terrific, and the Usher good, but the chorus is unclear and the Judge gays it up too much. Cute to have a lady barrister for the plaintiff, but it takes out some nice business between the Judge, a juror, and the counsel in flirting with the plaintiff. Not too bad for a school production, but they really need to learn to articulate more clearly. I could barely have followed this in places without the libretto alongside.

I have to agree with John Moore regarding this performance. NLOG is an excellent company that has produced some excellent productions, but they are let down by this orchestra and certainly deserve much better.
