Pretty sure it will be demonetized in an instant because it's anime music, so it was really only possible thanks to the Patreon supporters!
I had a credits roll for them inside the video itself but I think something wrong happened in the export, so I'll write their names in the comment right under this:

The content of the actual video is so good an out of focus camera doesn't ruin it at all, loved the video
Please! React to Ori and the Will of the Wisps OST! It is a masterpiece
That's a racist camera right there. Grounds for legal action.
- Prove his Italian origin like a GIGACHAD

- Continue with his amazing analyse
As an Italian that regularly watches him, I couldn't be more surprised

I'm surprised this many people didn't know. I'm sure Alex mentioned it quite a few times already
You forgot the Japanese part after French
And then he said ミラノから来ました which means "I'm from Milan"
I like the fact he dresses just like an average Stand User
This guy is a freaking legend!
Menacing
Either a stand user or a Kansai yakuza.
Stand is Blackdog of Shimano.
EXACTLY, LIKE, IS THS NOT A STAND USER

@@blackjacktrial Majima is such a bizarre character that he would fit right in JoJo so easily
Fun fact: this song has a special place in Yugo Kanno's heart and is a piece he is very emotionally attached to since, according to him in an interview, it took a lot of trial and error to get this song to sound _just_ right
And he absolutely nailed the song. More fond with Josuke’s theme but Giorno’s theme would always be there next on my special playlist
He's made so many incredible tracks but to me this feels like his absolute Magnum Oppus

Title “Reacts”
Expectation: a musician enjoying good music
What I got: a 13 minute analysis of every single part of the song mentioning from its geographical background to musical layers
Also reverse-engineering the music. Damn.
thats even better
Saxophonist here:
That solo is not easy. Hitting those notes itself a challenge. And then you add all the squeals and growls, that's an entirely different ballgame. Props to whoever did that one.
Also, have you heard the boss battle/final boss theme from persona 2 innocent Sin? If not, you should. They go hard
Will have to check them out! Persona music never let me down so far for all I heard.
Also about the Saxophone, I'm so impressed by their ability to follow the rhythm so well too! Wow.
I wonder how many takes that took
Alot but whoever did needs to be credited and all the musicians too.
There goes my dream to become a saxophonist after mastering the guitar 😐
Persona soundtracks in general slaps harder than a focused Freikugel.

If Alex Moukala had a Stand, it'd be a Stand that allows him to perceive only phenomenal soundtracks.
Does he only perceive phenomenal soundtracks, or does every soundtrack he perceives _become_ phenomenal?
It'd probably be op somehow

The wind metaphor part blew my damn mind, that's so incredibly clever! I always flip flop on my favorite jojo part as far as the narrative goes, but this theme is easily my favorite piece of music from the series. That and the track that plays every time Polnareff is attacked in a bathroom lmao
That scene will be forever etched in my memory 😂😂

it reminds me a LOT of Flight of the Bumblebee
@@JM-nothing-more I had that thought too.
I didn't notice the wund bit either, until he brought it up! I can appreciate it much more now
This, like Megalovania, is an example of an overly-memed song that also happens to slap *hard*
Between those two, I'd dare to say Golden Wind triumphs very heavily.
However they work the best when you put them together. I'm sure someone already did a mashup between the two somewhere on the internet!
@@AlexMoukalaMusic the mashups are incredible. Combine the groovy-ness of GW with Megalovania’s incredible malleability and you get a match made in Heaven.

@@y0av359 yeah that’s a really good song, very emotional. Another example is Never Gonna Give You Up. A great love song IMO, and Rick is a great singer, but his fairly successful carrier skyrocketed when he became one of the longest running memes in existence.
Let me just say as a choreographer, when one of my gymnasts said she wanted this as her floor music, I nearly screamed like a little girl! There are so many different layers for a choreographer to work with! It's a dream piece! It was one of the most fun routines I've ever made. The anime's poses just lend themselves to awesome unique choreography. You can almost hear the poses throughout the piece. The distortion sounds right before the piano I turned into a JoJo pose fest ( starting with Dio's signature lean back and ending with Jotaro's point). I like looking around at a meet when that JoJo yells out in the arena to see who all the anime-niacs are! To have people familiar and unfamiliar with the song just smile and enjoy the uniqueness of the music and poses is a testament to how epic this song is to hear. Plus it was a great excuse to slide in about 10 to 12 classic poses.
yo that sounds so cool
Do you have a video of that??
Sounds amazing and I would love to see it !
I'm working on getting it on my website and my TikTok whenever I get around to updating it. I'll link it here when I do.
would love to see it too!
Japan really do possess a LOT of amazing composers with YK initial and 4 letters on their name
- Yugo Kanno
- Yuki Kajiura
- Yuka Kitamura
And if you stick around long enough, you probably have heard some of their songs.
Yoko Kanno 😂
Ah yes I really like Kajiura's music
kajiura is monster when i found her in madoka magica
Obviously a hit
Yoko Shimomura is a slight exception. lets just pretend her last name starts with a K.
I love JoJo and Madoka Magica, Yugo Kanno and Yuki Kajiura have to be my favorite of all time.
It's a masterpiece; hence, it became a meme.
Sadly it doesn't always work like that, plenty of masterpiece tracks from anime and games are fairly unknown.
But I'm glad Giorno's Theme got the recognition it deserves!
Here's another track from Yugo Kanno which is absolutely A+ and very few know about: czcams.com/video/4H4ZHvZFb1w/video.html
@@AlexMoukalaMusic Very true, the meme factor came from the fact that it is also part of a very popular, memable series!
Yugo Kanno does excellent work, and that's definitely one that I recognize and love. But the highlight for me in that series is 'Sono Juukou wa Seigi o Shihai suru' for the atmospheric presence that it brings into the dystopian, futuristic setting.
Also, that's an excellent screamo, would love to hear more of that 😁
@@FrizFroz Memes definitely saved JoJo as a whole when you think about it! Bless them :D
Definitely glad of the memes of Jojo myself, while I never paid much attention to the manga or anime, the music always ended up getting played on my playlists from time to time, and I probably wouldn't have heard them if not for my Jojo friends or the memes.
And Alex absolutely agree with you on Inochi no Arikata, the entire Psycho-Pass soundtrack is one I go back to, and actually recently started to rewatch the show too. May be onto something with Y Kanno's being something special.
While i dont really like jojo as much as everyone, i have to admit that both music and art direction is f great
It's also worth noting that part of the track has the same melody as dio's theme only sped up
WHAT
@@AlexMoukalaMusic yea, there's been some comparisons on youtube for years i think
Now that you mention it....
Since Giorno has a certain connection with Dio, that's a given.
Especially Finale Of Golden Wind.

Finally someone appreciates how beautiful Coercizione is. Extremely underrated portion of the track.
My favorite
Yahh goosebumps for real.
Absolutely the best part
That saxophone solo is just INSANELY hard to do. Even not being a saxophonist myself, you can just tell. That attention to rhythm is very, very, hard.
Squealing out high notes isn't really that hard, but keeping them in rhythm, and keeping it all under control, is yes very hard
Dude, your suit is amazing 😍 also, Giorno's theme slaps so effing hard, my reaction to it it's exactly like yours everytime

To me, this song is an astonishing Masterpiece. It has EVERYTHING.
It's funky, it's catchy, it's epic, it's badass, it's grandiose.
It has a banger melody, it has a guitar solo, it has funky synths, it has an amazing bass, it has a Sax solo, it has vocals, it has Angelic Choirs, it has a Piano solo, it has a Violin.
How much can you add to a song?
And absolutely no second of this is boring.
To this day, I haven't heard a musical piece so rich in content as this one.

When you said that the solos sound like they're battling just made me realize that it probably represents the forces in Giorno's personality. The Joestar in him facing off with the Brando for supremacy.
OMG This is so educational!!! That you for breaking this track a part and showing us the individual components. I would have NEVER guessed there was a polyphonic chorus in the vocal stabs.
Il chad della musica, che oltretutto sfoggia la solarità italiana senza dover per forza parlare italiano. Non potrò mai smettere di consigliarti ad amici che adorano la musica videoludica, riesci a rendere tutte le tracce ancora più memorabili!
The angelic sounding chorus is even more fitting when you realise that Giorno is the Son of DIO, can't get more messianic than that
As an italian weeb living in a french country, your performance confused the hell out of me
Mister world wide
Hell yeah! Part 5 does such a good job representing my grandparent’s country, and the music uses the inspiration of Italy masterfully. Great analysis as always Alex!
These analyses are AMAZING: context, inspirations, similar vibes, tributes, connections between songs of the same world... GOSH. I feel I'm learning while getting hyped. POWERFUL.
Wow, Alex. You didn't hold back on analysis and production for this. I really appreciate the isolation of parts and recontextualizing. I came to you because of your epic FFXIV Endwalker Anime cover, but man will I check every video of yours out! Well done!!
I can’t believe you hadn’t reviewed this soundtrack already ! LET’S GO
2:37 I love that you pointed that out, I love finding neat things like that to appreciate even if they weren't intentional
This analysis makes me enjoy the music so much more just because he brings these little details to light. Also your reactions make me enjoy some parts of the song that I didn't pay much mind to, now I have to bop my head at the saxophone part lol. I would love it if you analyze some more JoJo themes like Diavolo's appearance or frankly any theme can't wait for the next upload :). 13/10.
You should DEFINITELY finish the series because at the very end there is an orchestral version of the theme that plays and it's probably the most beautiful rendition there is.
Me seeing the name: “Seriously? This just took a sudden turn for the awesome!”
Je t’adore les réactions sont incroyable et le choix des ost d’animé sont magiques continue 😁👍👍👍
Honestly, I’ve watched many CZcamsrs analyze Jojo’s music and I do have to say that this video was the most entertaining and fun to watch out of all of them. Would love to see more Jojo’s analyses from you, because there sure as hell are tons more great songs in the ost!
Alex is the only Jojo character that keeps changing his outfit.
I love that especially in Part 5 you can tell what a character's personality and Stand ability from track. Mista sounds like an excited EDM Hotline Miami like track because when he's winning you can feel his dopamine rush in his gunslinging. Narancia's feels like an aerial dogfight score. Trish's has so much elasticity. Abbacchio's sounds like an investigation and finally coming together. Before even adding to the sfx in the tracks to bring them all together.
Noticing the strings that really _do_ sound like howling wind was a 10/10 insight, I would never have caught on to that!
I've heard it somewhere mentioned that Giorno's theme has some elements of Dio's theme in there, somewhere? I'd love if someone could confirm that for me...
Adoro ogni tuo video, mi hai fatto apprezzare ancora di più ogni soundtrack che già amavo, grazie davvero per quello che fai
I was waiting for this one, and you didn't disappoint, you're more reliable than Koichi
hearing someone that usually speaks english speak italian with such a good axcent is really unexpected! (even as an italian)

Another absolutely amazing analysis! Part 5 is my favorite and Giorno my favorite JoJo, so of course I absolutely love this track even if it is a meme. And I was definitely blown away by this track when I first heard it, it's just absolutely incredible!
Also, for the angelic parts, it also makes since not only is the antagonist named Diavolo, but also Giorno is the son of DIO: the son of god
He can frickin create life, too
I love how you break down the music you cover, I always feel basically illiterate as to how music is constructed and it's interesting to see it broken down the way I could more easily do to something like a novel's structure.

Jojo's soundtrack is what I wait the most in the serie, never been disappointed. Having your analysis on every part of the song just makes it even better. On another note, quanto mi piacerebbe vedere un video dove fai react a una canzone italiana parlando in italiano! 😄
Your breakdown of all the different parts of the song is brilliant! You almost make me want to become a musician myself but my last name is Kanao so no way. You should also react to Grimm Troupe theme and Nightmare King from Hollow Knight those are two of my favorite video game themes and I would love to see what went into making those as well. Great video as usual and please keep it up!
Hey Alex, just wanted to comment to say your channel is one of my favorites! I love analyzing and breaking down music in games I play but frankly I don't have the composition know-how to go anywhere below surface level, so watching your videos always makes me incredibly happy. My friends always get tired of me yelling about music stuff (like Destiny 1's "Young Wolf" track) so it's nice to tune in and be part of an audience that actually cares about this sort of thing! Looking forward to the next one.
I absolutely love everything you did you this video. You got some energy.
Such a great breakdown of this masterpiece, it helped me understand why exactly it makes me so hype. And who better to do this than the real-life Jojo character himself.
Alex ti dico, sono scioccato da questo pezzo. Mai sentito prima, grazie per averlo portato. E confermo, quel solo di sax è da PAZZI
I love listening to your musical break downs! you also have the drip going!
This was definitely one of the most in depth reaction videos from someone in music. Went into so much detail, and didn't drag the video on for 45 minutes, it was really nice and refreshing. Nice compact and in depth. I wish I could do a 7 page like on this video
As always excelent! This theme is one of my favorite!
Your decomposition of the music is as always flawless. Thank you very much for the vid. Have a nice day!!!
Please more JoJo content 🙏
Your analyses are always working so brilliantly with the themes of the medium itself and as a big fan of JoJo's who doesn't understand music very well, but enjoys it greatly, I'd be down for more videos like this!
Keep it up man!☆
the angelic choir is the part that really sells me on the GOLD in golden wind
This theme may be overplayed / memed to death but it's a genuinely good song. The whole piece slaps and not just the piano part (my favorite is whenever the sax comes in). Also, I just love when choir is used in modern pieces like this, it's so satisfying.
Grande! Ho beccato il canale e il video oggi, e sono rimasto infuocato dall'analisi. Potentissima traccia!
this is the best theme song breakdown i have ever watch, keep up the good work alex!
the entire soundtrack of part 5 is one of the greatest things i've ever heard, and giorno's theme is simply a masterpiece
Just braking out the Japanese after switching from English to Italian to French(?) caught me off guard; I was unfazed by the first two language changes, but that third one got me especially with understanding it somewhat
I didn't even notice the transition from Italian to French without going back to listen again another time
Bro, Alex, I can feel your passion on this video! It's inspiring me to just nerd out and bring my ideas out there, thank you!!!
This is a great in depth analysis!! Absolutely amazing!
We stan a funky italian king. Also thank you for your cool insights of nerd music. Much apreciated.
8:40 That is genuinely how wind is done in old movies. I remember all of that from old American cinema clips as how that would be represented. Very interesting that it was put in a song.
Always appreciate these insights, especially sandwiched in some great editing and extra work. The way the music keeps fading while he's still talking makes the whole video flow much more and you never get the feeling it's "talking block - music block - cover block", it's almost like the video itself is cut in a way to make it as whole and complete feeling as a song would.
Also will say that I always think about Bayonetta combat endings, when I hear the song end. Same energy.
Wow this is a very good analysis and you pointed out things I've never noticed! Very enjoyable!
I'm surprised you've never done a video on this considering you would literally fit into that story perfectly.
As a woodwind player the distortions in the sax solo are made by playing with the reed and your emouchure. It's definitely a SKILL to bend notes like this on a woodwind instrument.
Your love for the music is so infectious I'm sat here vibin alongside you 💯
Loving your videos! Glad you pointed out the fact that the strings emulate the sound of wind; that's something I picked up on one of the first times I heard the song and just compounded my love for it.
