    Sounds like the cap / pots is changing more than the pickups / hard to tell, would be great to see the replacement pickup with the stock pots / caps / wiring. Anyway I think all stock sounds best here imo

    Clear differences. I preferred the 63 pickup / Allparts cap. It's much easier to roll off treble and/or volume than to try to fix a lack of treble and definition in the pickup. The stock pickup is probably accurate to the era, but it sounds muffled now.

    Sorry, but stock '50 pickup sounds better.
