what tools and technology and framework are you using for QA automation Testing?
what kind of testing are you working like UI web testing, API testing? etc...

All my important emails go to trash. what are you testing if you can't catch a simple bug like this. been like this for 2 yrs. can't find any solution on google forums

I think this was slightly misleading when he was trying to differentiate the role of an S.E.T from the role of someone in Q.A with the car analogy. He made it sound like it was nearly the same thing, a role in which people design software (or unit tests) which test a piece of software that has been developed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but those seem like 2 very similar things.

"Test is not associated with quality assurance"...WHAT?!

@neotokyo No, that's what they were saying. They need to build entire tools to do the testing, not just the testing itself. Imagine building things like Selenium from scratch everyday.

@@ethnictherapy4349 no need. we already have Selenium. it's good enough

Does google still hire SETs? or did they get rid of them?

why not ask a real question like how much of algorithms and math do you use in your daily work developing test code

+Thulsa Doom Certainly not as much as sde but most of the times sde would be re-using already written algo/snippets/tools and sometimes doing new things..

This is a pretty interesting video and there are many thought provoking points raised. However, if you work on ads, you are just a tiny little bit evil...
