Kan Sis! Parents are not perfect. My father suffered from Alcohol addiction and he was abusive but every time he needed me to pick him up I did. In spite of how I felt back then I realized that I couldn’t judge him for what he has done. I still respected him. I became a caregiver towards my mother up til the day she passed away last year. I got therapy and called on Yahuah for guidance within my life. My father passed away few years before she did. I feel assured that in spite of the abuse I still honored my mother and father. HalleluYAH.
That is such a beautiful testimony and I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom’s recent passing. My condolences ❤️ What you felt and said was so right and a true testament to your faith. Yah is so good and worthy to be praised!
Shalom, sister. Thank you for sharing this topic. I was blessed by this message. It seems that "step-parents" are often forgotten in this topic.. though I dont like saying "step" parent. Have you considered doing anything to address steparents and step children relationships, whether adult or children? It is a challenging hat to wear.. I pray you will, if you have not. Special request..❤ Have a beautiful day. Shalom.
Shabbat Shalawam sis! I agree with you that even though the world considers someone a step parent, Yah still looks at them as your parent figure so the scriptures still apply. Step parents can be the BEST parent that a child could ever have, and if they are a blessing to them, they are sent from The Most High! They are special people to raise a child as their own and it’s a gift to both the other parent and them as a whole unit. I thank Yah that someone like you has done this and I pray that you continue to be a blessing ❤️
AP! Shabbat Shalom!
🤎🤎🤎well spoken with wisdom!
Thawadah sis, APTTMH!
