I think many people in this guy's country throw away their repairable phones, due to the fear of a bad repair job. I just can't imagine any other reason for minor damaged phones to end up in garbage heaps for any other reason. I guess it is cheaper to buy a new one, than to pay for a bad repair job in the long run 🤔 🤷.
