He looks impressive. Only thing he seems to lack is homerun speed.

Seems like a good competent back, but I really don't see anything special about him that would make me say he's the best back in the draft. He looks like a good back running behind an all American line

i see what you sayin. this is also his first season actually playing college football tho , so we didn't get to see him physically adjust to that level and prepare himself thru an offseason knowing what he needs to fix. i think its a good chance hes a better nfl back than cfb

First actual year of starting, has a lot of good instincts and vision. A lot of the position is processing. He doesn’t have to be a completely elite athlete to play well. There are a lot of great athletes who don’t have the mental aspect of the game down. Doubt he has 1400 yard seasons but he will be a master of helping the offense keep drives alive with his ability to find homes and being a good pass catching back

@@JJFN hes also guaranteed to get better bc he never had an offseason at texas after he got playing time to make mental changes based off what he experienced when he was getting used the year that just ended. if his acl doesn't affect him , he only had 265 touches at texas and his injury wasnt from
a movement that he does specifically for his playstyle , it was just one them plays. plus hes 20 , what we just saw is the worst hes ever gonna look as an individual , carolina needs to make sure they dont CMC him and give him ATLEAST a top 10 run blocking line. they made CMC useless to them bc he was getting hit by DTs every play n became injury prone , thatll happen to brooks too.
n ima eagles fan so ik penny didnt show anything in 2023 , good or bad bc our OC brian johnson was sabotaging using boston scott over him. penny can be that same top 5 big play RB he was 21&22 if he gets he carries to settle in. have the weeks waiting for brooks be a chuba/penny battle for rb2. both those duos a problem with legette and mingo blocking downfield

@@JJFN he reminds me of todd gurley and jay ajayi , little bit of breece hall too where none of them are elite athletes but are all fast for their size , have elite power/balance for the footwork n speed they have , and all are extremely self aware and purposely use their advantages almost every single run. and my favorite part that he matches them in is how he runs like hes offended that the defender thinks they can tackle him and is trying to make them regret even trying. he had so many carries where he either is the one laying the hit on defenders first or makes it so clear he going deliver the hit that they hesitate , dont tackle him head on and he runs thru them bc hes so strong that its a joke tryna tackle him wit less than your shoulder and all your weight behind the hit. i think him being a 1400 back depends on scheme , give him josh jacobs , najee harris usage i think he easily a 1400 back and would show how bad najee actually is and that jacobs only been a frp RB two seasons. i dont think hell be a 2000 20 TDs all purpose dude tho , i think you can get 1600-1800 and 13-17 total outta him atleast 5-6 years if the organization actually gives him help that lets him do it. hes one those "idrk why but he just always plays good n produces" backs n they always do well

yea dak cant be the one who decides games , top 5 defense isnt even enough fir him. cowboys forgot that zeke had a legendary first 4 years and was the reason the offense was able to close. and ran him into the ground then acted like he did something wrong. as an eagles fan zeke one of those few dudes on dallas that id be scared to face each time bc they can win a game alone. like sean lee and amari cooper before we got slay. theres nobody on that team like that now. dak got credit for what zeke and amari did n the cowboys payin for it in playoff games , they need a RB who can win a game himself. deuce vaughn is that talented , hes just as good as bijan and jahmyr gibbs , but he needs somebody like brooks to take some the carries at da nfl level. brooks or irving would be great for the cowboys , brooks would be nice. irving would be scary asf

No way. Don't use a premium pick on an Injured rb.

@@survivingwatson7430 They havent replaced the front office. Also a top 5 defense doesnt let the 7th seed score 6 times on their first 7 drives in the playoffs. If the FO was better and actually had the danger of losing their jobs, they would actually try and help Dak rn. Dak is a very good QB and was a top 3-5 QB last season but he cant do it by himself, he needs help just like everyone else.
