If youre going to boost it down the line, while you've got it open, you might aswell chuck in the head studs, standard headbolts will stretch and lift the head.
if you want to keep the bay clean i would buy a Barra turbo hotside and then an adapter to fit it. Would need to relocate battery to the boot for the intake too

@@partiall late EL & xh are hybrid, numbers stamped in the front of the head tell you all you need to know. 96AA/96DA/96DT is EL Hybrid,
95DA/95AA/95DT or earlier is EA/EL casting for reference
@Vertical Banana only downfall with the xg's is they're just an xf with a sohc 🤣 the sohc part is an improvement but the standard xg suspension (xf suspension) is shithouse 🤣

@@partiall as far as I know yes, intechs had the alloy sump that's kind of a "girdle" as it bolts into the main caps, other then that ea-ed, el&xh are dizzy ef and au aren't
