Haoko has needs whether the wives are in estrus or not! Little Riki was fighting mad tho. Everyone knew Plum was upset. In the end she wanted her auntie Toto! 🥲

Something is wrong. The 3 older children keep guarding their mother who looks tired and unwell. Haoko has attacked two of his children for no reason. Even the always independent Sumomo is frightened and hides with Aunt Toto. The zoo keepers need to find out what is upsetting this beautiful family before one of them gets hurt.
Haoko has to be in heat an it’s not coinciding with the females estrus which Momoko won’t be in for a while. Not sure about Toto she’s usually accommodating but she’s not currently interested. This behavior for Haoko is not unusual an this is far less than when Komomo was a baby. He was relentless an is a biter, often biting the females. His mind is on one thing not sure why he’s going after the kids but as the Zookeepers are the professionals I’m sure they are monitoring. This is normal an the group as a whole protect each other

I am no expert on gorillas. learn something every day. Yes they are not humans and some people perhaps know more than others but to use words like ignorant. That reflects your lack of empathy in others. We are all learning every day. How would you feel being called ignorant because you dont know all the data. We could all be kinder to one another and celebrate in our love of gorillas.

В Европе уже в семилетнем возрасте стараются разделить взрослых детей с семьей. Подыскивают им зоопарки, где не хватает мальчиков или девочек. Правда, девочек на всех не хватает, поэтому мальчиков собирают в холостяцкие группы и часто кастрируют. В тоже время, в семье Хаоко две взрослые дочери и зоопарк их никуда не пристраивает. Нервничает Хаоко, Рики скоро станет приставать ко всем самкам, как это делает Кийомаса из семьи Шабани. В Японии почти во всех семьях горилл, взрослые дети живут вместе с родителями.
