RANGE TEST WITH 4 DIFFERENT HAM WALKIE TALKIE RADIOS WHICH ARE QUANSHENG K5, BAOFENG UV-5R, TIDRADIO TD-H3, MOTOROLA T82 EXTREME.
THE AREA WHERE THE RANGE TEST WAS DONE WAS HILLY AND WOODSY WITH NO BIG OPEN AREAS OR BUILDINGS. WE DID THE RANGE TEST USING ALWAYS 2 SAME MODEL RADIOS WHICH WE TRIED TO CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER.
It´s really hard to find a clear winner out of these radios Quansheng, Tidradio and Baofeng. Motorola T82 had weakest reception signal, it has power output of only 0.5W. What kind of reception range have you gotten with these radios? Please, share your experiences with others =)

All quansheng models are the same exact radio just branded a different model. If you open them all up you'll find the same exact circuit board and speaker

Antenna has a lot to do with how well they work, A Nagoya 771 will multiply the reception of the 3 main radios.

Most 771 antennas are great I think. Diamond, Retevis, Tidradio... I personally like the HYS because of the BNC connector.

Your tests would be more persuasive if you spoke directly into the microphone on the radio. Sorry but those radios are not designed for response at that distance. The sizzle you get overwhelms the transmission.

I tested the uv5r 8w in forest and mountain conditions from radio to radio 6km with clear sound on 70cm( frequency ) and the original 38cm antenna
