I literally got a lot of inspiration from watching his videos. I am putting in a food forest after seeing his. I believe everyone should be doing this.
So inspired! Last year was my first year "farming" and I loved watching James and Tuckie! I learned SO MUCH and we had so much fun growing food and eating it! This year is bigger and better!!
Thanks for coming back! You are one of the reasons I made it through furlough last year, built 11 raised beds in my yard and got my compost ready for this year! Put in drip irrigation and researched seed catalogs for heirloom vegetables and herbs. I believe I would have gone nuts if I didnât have these projects and you are a big part of the inspiration, so thanks for coming back,

We built 2 raised bed gardens this year.
12âx4âx24â, with a trellis arch connecting them (54â cattle panel), for vertical growth.
Plus 36 5 gallon grow bags. 8 cubic yards coming on Friday (7certified organic mushroom compost + peat moss + topsoil)+(1cu yd 2 yr composted mulch from sawmill branch bark - for top mulch).
Very excited! 2,000 plants started indoors, over 100+ kinds of seeds :-)

Iâve been just so into grounding but Iâm that ocd Virgo that tends to over plan. I spend more time preparing and researching than doing. Last year reduced my home garden club from several 7-10 of us to a member of one. Now my husbandâs the man. He supports my obsessing, does the hard stuff (new beds, fence to keep my pit from piss murdering my beautiful flowering vines, repairing the entire roof of my greenhouse, etc) but heâs busy and itâs just not his thing. Itâs mine so thank you for making my life easier. Simply put. Namaste yo

A few days ago, I happen to stumble upon your channel and have been hooked ever since. I have been gardening since I was a small child and I love it. There is nothing more rewarding and tastier than growing your own fruits and veggies. This year my husband made a cedar raised bed in a U-shaped design because our old metal raised beds rusted out. Yes, cedar wood right now is expensive. He needed six- and eight-foot cedar boards. The six foot were reasonable, but the eight foots were priced for ten dollars moreâŠ.for two extra feet! I am not sure if you know this or already did so, but before filling a raised bed, put a layer of dead leaves and grass clippings on the bottom. This will not only help keep weeds out, but it will make excellent food for your plants. By the way, will you and Tuck ever do a live stream? You and Tuck take care and keep getting those hands and paws dirty. Love and support from the state of Arizona!

HELLO JAMES!!!!! It's so good to see you young man! And Tuck looks so adorable! Thank you for sharing these ideas. Using more space wisely is what I am doing too. Growing more this year, the artic polar cold that hit Texas took out all my citrus trees. Some of the trees were 20 years old. But I thank GOD for all that has shot back up from the ground, like all the cold hardy veggies. It's funny, but, the apple, apricot, nectarine, peach, quince and plum trees made it through perfectly. Those extra cold hours did some good, lol! Have to see the positive in every thing. GOD bless you James!!!

My trees bloomed on Easter Sunday and it dawned on me our gardens are a beautiful gift and reminder from almighty God. Jesus rose for our hope of renewal...just like spring. Enjoy!

My sister built an identical keyhole raised bed a few years ago, and uses it as a place to toss all her food scraps from Oct-April. She has the best soil I have ever seen. Super jealous. I am converting my lawn/yard to garden, a few more yards every spring. But if I did high raised beds....
