One of my bestfriends since middle school got locked up when we were 18 got out right before we turned 26. We spent so much time enjoying life and catching up for all the lost time. 8 months after his release he died in a car accident. I pulled up right after he was ejected from his car seeing strangers pull my guy out the middle of the road. I was so in shock. I had to watch one of the strongest, toughest, smartest men I've ever knew fight for his life and I couldn't do nothing to help except talk to him and be by his side. His blood was stained on my right palm for 2 days after. Not to mention he died 12 days before my son was born & I was waiting for him to meet my son to ask him to be his Godfather. This happened a year and a half ago and I'm still fucc'd up about it. Moral of the story, us black men all go thru similar hardships. In a different life the next black man coulda been you. We gotta switch shit up so our sons and grandsons dont have to go thru all the same shit! đŻ

Abt a month later we was in the tv room and he was saying he was freezing but it was hot ass hell, he went to medical and died sitting in the waiting room!!! Over my 17 year bid, at least 15 ppl died from medical issues!! Abt 10-12 at PETERSBURG THE 8 years I was there.

@@nikicarrie4071 because they were so use of being told what to do they would work in the jail lift weights box go to the law library where there's a big screen T.V. and they would have breakfast in the day room lunch and dinner in there and being released to the street where there is no home or residence to go to no food no television and no job it was easier for them to break a police car window to make things better for them again by getting a roof 3 hots and a cell now they some how have laptops and cellphones seems to make they make there way inside so they rather have that than walking or sleeping in dead of winter with nothing.
Every once in a while a real one comes along to shed light ⊠gotta give them their flowers so they kno the difference they make and how much theyâre appreciated đđ

Thatâs a fact when I was in I saw someone try to hang their selves
Cancer killed my bestfriend from when i was younger. He had one oof the most beautiful funerals i ever went to. I remember him thinking he almost beat it happy ash to finally come home just to end up in a coma 2 months later and died after. Really does hurt hearing stories like this. RIP to those affected.

Freedom was so special to him that he didn't even mind having to get diagnosed with cancer to receive it. Life is precious you guys do not waste it in prison

Iâm truly saddened for anyone who is dealing with any kind of illness.
Throughout the course of doing 26 years in prison, Iâve lost a lot my comrades in a similar way. A lot of these men was scholars, leaders, striving to better our lives. Salute to that brother and all the brothers who never made it home to their families, but made a profound impact on the lives of us all!
My Brother told me, saddest thing he ever saw. 1 of the older guys on his' block in whatever county He was in at the time, had a lump in his throat. He'd fill out a medical slip, they'd do 0 for him & send him back. Until 1 day he left & never came back, 3 weeks later he passed. He said u could c it was growing.
I ainât mad at bro ainât no telling how long he was sentenced to & how long he had been in there. I respect his optimism
That was a rough story! Possibly the roughest story I've heard on the tube so far this year.
