Traxxas surprised me with this one. I knew there was a new Stampede VXL coming that would be Hoss based, but I thought it would have the standard Velineon 3500 and slipper clutch. I wasn't expecting them to keep the Hoss drivetrain. Glad to see they did! Thanks for the great video.

Easy enough to fit that body, I’ve done it. Definitely would be nice to get it out of the box though and not need to spend the extra cash. Always thought it was odd that Bigfoot came as a 2nd model.

I ripped out that low kv motor and put the Arrma 3s motor in there. I got 44mph off road! Stock gearing 😂👍. Perfect. That big motor is better than off on 4s and probably higher gearing, meaning that it would have to go into a bigger vehicle 👍

Dang! That was really smooth and stable! I'm impressed. Traxxas needs to figure out what they did with this truck and replicate it across all their platforms. If the Maxx Slash drove that flat, I'd be out 700 bucks.

I own the Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL of 2012. The stock motor was the 3500 kv velinon . It was running 3s out of the box more than 50 mph with the 11T pinion and the tyres were balooning. The wide maxx runs slower than the original maxx. The new releases of traxxas often come with good updates but why do they decrease the speed of their cars ? Why switching a 3500 kv to a 2400 KV ?

Im a big stampede fan but traxxas is going down hill with the none adjustability and customization and paint jobs of there vehicles good look putting the big foot body on it 🙄
