  • This is just one series (sequence of shots) that you can use to dictate holes in foosball. Once you understand how your shots work together, then you can start stringing shots/passes together effectively.

This is gold! Your strategic analysis is the best i've ever seen on video. Could please make more video's? I would really like to see such an in depth analysis on defensive concepts as well. And don't be put off by the low amount of views: as we say in holland, een parel voor de zwijnen ( a pearl for the pigs).

Thank you so much for the kind words, Anne. It really means a lot to me. :-) I have a video for 5 row theory, but I have yet to do a defensive one. I'll have to borrow my friend's camera again soon. :-)

hey man , can you do a video like this one but using the pull shot. what shots would you shoot , and in what order , and why . please respond , im very interested in how you would approach this. because i favor the long , alot and i find myself only looking at the long no matter what the defense is doing , i just wait for the long , even if i have to wait the full count. they pretty much have to stack both men out there to deter me from going long , but as crazy as it sounds it works against most apponents , i score very well , till i get against a good goolie who forces me to do otherwise.

Thx for excellent tips, you have good gift to explain the tactics. Please can you elaborate more on what would be percentage of plain exploding on the hole(looking at your stronger side and without fakes explode on the hole) be when played best of five - in which set or type of defence would you start using this strategy. Also do you use(and when) the rule repeat the shoot until goalie shows adjustment ?

      Those are great questions:
I would say 40% is a good percentage of popping the open hole when you can against good teams. Usually, a smart goalie is going to make adjustments after 3 or 4 shots...so pop a few to the open hole, and then work a few shots in a row of a pre-planned series....and then go back to shooting the open hole.
Around 3 or 4 shots, you have to expect adjustments to be made - hopefully you are experienced enough to know how to shoot on the new defenses too!
