- Years ago I found this video made by a CZcamsr named AleraCat. It was a brilliant video dedicated to the Movie "Hachi: A Dog's Tale". This is one of my favorite Dog stories of all time and is based on the true story of Hachikō the famous loyal dog from Japan. This movie is also one of the best tear-jerkers of all time. I recommend having a box of tissues handy when watching this movie. In addition to loving this movie and video, I also am quite fond of a British Singer named Lucy Thomas. Lucy recently recorded "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri and when I heard it I just had to hear it with this video. Naturally, I put the two together. I hope everyone likes this especially AleraCat if they are watching.

I’ve been a musician 60 years, and this woman’s voice moves me every time I hear her sing. Not many artists have given me that shivering, goosebump warm feeling her beautiful voice does. Just a pure vocal instrument.

Right with you, Jim! This is my 60th year as well and the only other vocalist that affected me this way was Karen Carpenter. I love to watch the two sisters sing duets; you can feel the love they have for each other.
I am recovering from brain surgery. I listen to Lucy all day and believe me when I say that there is a healing aspect to Lucy's voice. I know of what I speak. Thank you for all the music you provide us. An Angel from heaven.

I have loved this song forever performed by Christina Perri. Now I love it even more. Lucy's amazing ability to adapt her voice to match the mood of the song makes an emotional impact. We can feel and relate to Lucy's presentation and performance.
Lucy has mastered multiple genres which is really hard to do. Many singers and performers have just one style and they have a hard time in another genre. Lucy can combine multiple genres within a one song.
Lucy Thomas has Real Talent and she is not afraid tp use it. Lucy Thomas doesn't copy music... she Improves it.
Lucy Thomas will break your heart, bring goosebumps to your arms and tears to your eyes. How many of today's vocalists can do this?

Hello Lucy, Ceci from Mexico City again. This movie from the story of Hachi the dog with the fabulous performance of Richard Gere, I saw it in the cinema. I cried the whole movie, the unconditional love of this Hachi dog is surprising, and how when Richard dies he waits for him at the train station forever until he also dies and they meet again.
I want to tell you that this breed of dogs is raised by Buddhists and they are the ones who choose to give a dog of this breed as a gift.
Not everyone can receive this gift, you have to have a high spiritual advance to deserve it. Since Buddhists believe in reincarnation.
And they think that any human being can reincarnate in any animal as you have behaved in life.
For this reason they have to be sure that you de love having this breed of dogs that they take care of and teach since they are babies.
Remember that I told you to go through 3 religions and one was to spend 5 years with Buddhists and meditation.

Do you know the name of the movie. I saw it along time ago but I want my grandson to watch it. He's got a heart for puppies and kittys. He asked Santa for a black kitty with blue eyes. Santa asked my daughter for her phone number and someone called her for her to go get a kitty. But they took the kitty back. He was afraid of everything and everyone but when I move in with them were going to get him one and of course me I'm in a nursing home because of COVID-19 and I'm in a wheelchair so I've been really down so we're thinking maybe a kitty will keep my grandson and I happy 😊. I have listened to Lucy since she was 14 years old. She has a gift that she has worked to develop to perfection. Her talent brings you to another world that only she and the listener occupy. She is truly a unique talent and as a 82 year old guy who has loved music all his life but has no musical talent I thank every chance I get to listen to her including the times she makes me cry.
