Thank you so, so much for this tutorial. I got Cosmog and since my favorite legendary Pokémon is Solgaleo, I was cheering really loud when you said "in Sword, you get Solgaleo" and I have Sword so I have my favorite legendary. (I'm only 11)
Edit: this was written two years ago. I'm 13 now and don't play much Pokémon but I do have then new Scarlet which I haven't finished yet

Yes! I have shield! I love Lunala! I just bought Pokemon moon and ultra moon for the 3ds and I'm glad that I bought the right version to get Lunala in shield!

Not sure if you know, but when you select an item - like you did your medium candies - if you press "down" from "1" it automatically goes the the maximum number you have (rather then pressing up all the way to the 11 there)

Update: I took my sister switch and Pokemon shield cartridge traded my Cosmoem over to hers and level it up to get lunala so I have them both!

Curious mind here. What if you have not evolved Cosmog in Shield yet? Can you transfer it to Sword and get Solgaleo? Or is it locked to whatever game you got it in? (I have Lunala from DA, I don't want two)
If you'd be up to it you could turn your other cosmog into lunala aswell and I would trade you solgaleo for it?
if you get Pokemon sword and shield w the crown tundra you can get them both but you need to link your shelled with your sword in Pokemon home it was ez for me only took 6h to get them both

Gamefreak, i hope gen 9's dlc adds cosmog in with a new evolution method which is not version excusive, instead its Dependant on the time of day, like if its Dawn or Daytime, Cosmoem will evolve into Solgaleo but if its Dusk or Night, it will evolve into Lunala instead, you're sitting under a better method gamefreak, you just didint realise it.

You do know you can get solgaleo via dynamax adventure just join somebodies adventure like if you have a discord just ask if somebody is doing a solgaleo that’s how I got both of mine

You get cosmog in the house in freezington with the old lady, you have to talk to her for the 2nd time after solving the calyrex mystery and she will offer you her pet fwoofy which is the Cosmog
