Just found your channel and I love it. Please always show your cold starts like this, so we can see what you do with the throttle pedal. This one happened to have the vents in front, but if it doesn’t, maybe you could do it from the open driver side door. Your videos are awesome. Thank you!
It is sad to see a piece of American history go to scrap but your right in what you said That engine sure sounds great though I hope you find a good home for it
Come to PA, my company still uses four TS14B scrappers in daily service along side 8 TS14G and two newer Cat 627Ks never had problems with the old B's I love them.
500 bucks is probably a cheap estimate depending on the fittings on that thing. I know some of those fittings for stuff that large can be a hundred bucks a pop, easily. And then the hose, 4 wire that size last time i priced any was I think 60/ft and that was a long time ago. Markets vary and prices vary though. That's just what i see around me.
That is unfortunately the truth, they really are only worth anything in scrap. My grandpa had 2 TS-24s which had 12v71s in the front and 6-71s in the rear. Probably both long gone by now. I'm guessing that paint job was done by an auction company before a sale, I know they did the same thing when all my grandpas equipment went up, they just sprayed a coat over anything that looked bad. Cheap but good enough to sell for more.

Big ole beast from a different era. It did it's work and now it's time to retire.

It is what it is I guess. Economics get in the way. Thanks!
Somebody call Matt from Diesel Creek.
Yes!
It would be a great project to restore and use if you had the money, time and land
@@nigelmcculloch3746 well Matt seems to have all that.
@@KrasYnek I think he mentioned he was short on time and not willing to throw buckets of cash at it
@@nigelmcculloch3746 I'm talking about Matt from Diesel Creek having time place and money, not the author of this video.

How much you want for that unit ?

Remove the rear part and make a V12 tractor
