You can also use lotion if you don’t want to rip your hauler out but is willing to sacrifice a very small amount

You can also use salt and ice just put the salt where the gum is and put the ice one top of the salt and leave the ice there for 5mins

My dog stepped in sap and it was stuck between her toes and in the fur. I don't know why but I thought oil would work so I stuck her foot on a cup of olive oil and it worked right out. The pads of her feet were super soft afterwards too.
