As a man who's ex partner wanted me to spend all my time with her while working 50 hours a week to keep a roof over our heads because she didn't work a day once the kids were on the way - there just wasn't enough hours in the day, the only time for myself was alone in my car on the way too or from work.

DUANE, To me, and thats just me, This is the woman from the song Narcissist. Ive been a fan of dax, and i use his music for speech therapy to recover from this situation since early 2021. It was a bad decision to marry that woman, i totally agree but once married, it was my vow to care for her and i didnt understand the beatings i was pretty much begging for. Its nice to hear dax singing about it and calling out the pressures a man can face in life Again, almost doubling down on To Be A Man.
I will never take away from Dax! His music is gold. Since I know you enjoyed some Shinedown. The song sounds like Smith & Myers Bad at Love at the beginning. I love Dax do not get me wrong. I just cannot unhear it. Check it out.
