It's really nice to see parts of IY1 once again. I really miss IY1 and the funny G7.
What I have come to notice is that, mostly when people talked about IY1, they talked about G7 as a whole. But, when people talked about IY2, often they talked about one particular member (usually they're already original bias).
It's like when it comes to G7, we love everyone in it. But, with G8, it's like we only care about our bias.
The opening part brought back so many memories.

I recognized all of those pictures from season one...good times.
I don't like how they changed the whole concept of IY. It was so different from IY1. IY1 was more in a reality side since they lived in an old farm house and did all the farming work. They didn't have to build a house, except for their toilet of course lol. They literally lived as farmers and do all the farming works theirselves. The house was old but it was cozy and fun. IY2 house was more modern looking and the G8 didn't seem to do a lot of work, it was more like hanging out. Plus, I don't really like IY2 headman. So bossy. IY1 will always be the best for me.
Though I haven't seen the entirety of invincible youth 2, I do agree that the house is a little too modern and that what they have done so far seems to be just "outings" where they just experience a little of the life there, not actually living it. But I'll have to watch the rest of the season first before I really make any kind of comparisons
+David Vang lol I'll leave it to you to decide. I didn't finish it. I only watched half of the s2 then went back and watched the whole season1 all over again. Lol I just like the old G7 more and the people in Yuchiri.
+annlourence06 you're right, I'm like 16 episodes or so in to season two and I really dislike it. I can't really pin point what I hate, I just know that I don't like it as much as IY1.
+annlourence06 A lot also of dead air. The comedians are not making the initiative to be funny and cracking jokes like Shinyeong did in the first season.
+KRAKENN PRODUCTIONS shinyoung in is IY2 too. the problem with season two is that, it is always compared to IY1. you cant expect it to be the same as IY1.

lol, we are. Only watching this b/c I loved Sunny in the last one and hope she can redeem G8 like she was starting to last episode. Hyomin dealing with water duty was so much more fun to watch than these bunch of entitled rich kids. the dynamic here is like a bunch of rich girl moving into a neighborhood and taking over. All these relationships seem so fake. They make little effort to get to know the neighbors and their way of life. Hope it gets better. Sunny Fighting!!

The good in this case is airtime probably. It is possible, but I don't think G8 has a friendship of pleasure where they "desire to pass their time in their friend’s company, for that is how they get the enjoyment of their friendship." They certainly do not have a friendship of good: "those who wish the good of their friends for their friends’ sake who are friends in the fullest sense."

To brighten your mood up, the producers said that they were making a IY3 last December. They found out the reason why IY2 had such low ratings and they are going to avoid it in the third one.

Not sure what to feel when I saw the IY2’s house. It totally changed the original IY vibe. Anyhoo, it’s 2022 and still watching them hehehe OG G7 / G10 IY1 fan here. So I’m supporting IY2, too.
i feel that the greatest difference between IY1 and 2 is that the G7 members in IIY1 actually goes down to the farm and do farm work. they also had lots of interactions with the villagers unlike in IY2 where they mostly stay in the house and interact among themselves. i guess this is why IY1 looks more like a family and the fact that they have animal pets make the village-living experience even more real. to be honest, IY2 is a program that can take place even in a city because the things they do mostly do not need them to be always in a rural area...
I love amber so much... People think she s boy and people say she's a boy when they don't know her but she don't change herself cause of what people say to her... She keep doing what she want..

I think so too. I like IY2 a lot but nothing can beat IY1 and the original G7. I watched it for Sunny and Yuri but I grew on the rest of the members.

I missed Invincible Youth Season 1 and G7 I'm saying this but I still like the Invicible Youth Season 2 I lime the old Invincible Youth because it was more funny and active and in the new Invincible Youth is kinda not active like farming & etc.

to be honest, i prefer season 1 than season 2, because i can see that they do more work than play.. and the house is more countryside-like.. while season 2 they get don't work to decorate the house.. remember how at season 1 they have to build their own toilet, dog house, barn, hen house for all their lifestocks? but here, i highly doubt they will have to do anything like that, it's almost like how they live at their dorm..

In this episode I miss Chief Noh. Pureum, Yuchi King, Yuchiri people Lee Roadster and Wanggu and his wife.
But Season 2 is good too, everyone was not use to see G8 farming cause Yuchiri is a very remote area compared to Daebudo. Every region his its own treasures like Yuchiri they have corns, peppers, sesame seeds etc (farming) while Daebudo has ocean, fishing crabs, rays and many more, big mudflats etc.. And seems a bit advance than Yuchiri (even Wanggu said its a very different feeling). So let's stop comparing if we keep on doing this we will not having Season 3. That's why Season 2 has low ratings cause everyone keeps complaining/comparing..
Yes! I miss G7(Sunny, Hyomin, Yuri, Narsha, Hara, Sunhwa and Hyuna + Victoria, Sori and Johyun) but please move on we have G8 (Jiyoung, Amber, Suzy, Bora, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Woori and Yewon.

AFTER WATCHING: I LOVE THE WHOLE EP! I Never treasured IY1. I was like, why is it so slow, when will SooYoung visit them, when will this end? I was waiting for every ep to pass by, but I'm really regretting now that I know what their ending would be like. I wanted to treasure this one so that I won't regret reaching the last episode of this season.
There is a coincidence here. At 13:21 Suzy saw the photo that they made Kimchi at IY 1 and said to do it again. Well what we see now is ep.5. In IY 1 they made Kimchi at ep.5 also
