We spent £500M over the last two seasons and look at what we got for it, there’s no balance in the team, playing our second string right back at left wing is nonsensical, we still haven’t got a main striker, our whole game plan is based on defence and yet we have defenders who can’t defend and Moyes never has a plan B, I could go on for ever, the man’s a dinosaur who doesn’t understand the modern game.

Just wanted to say that before this next bit so it doesn't look like I'm just having a go. I didn't understand some of your fans (not all) over confidence in the build up to this game, or the weird "rivalry" spin that was being put on it. It actually reminded me a lot of what I saw from some of our fans before the Arsenal game, with a certain sausage talking about scoring 4 at the Emirates. Arsenal are a serious side, I don't get why people won't give them their credit, maybe it's because quite a lot of their fans online are annoying, I don't know. Maybe this is a controversial view but I think you should've moved on from Moyes in the summer, I think winning the conference league was the peak of what he can do at West Ham and it would've made sense to end things on a high. I think tactically Moyes showed yesterday how far he is off the top coaches in the league, I can understand going to the Emirates and doing that, I mean you literally went there with the same game plan and it worked, but we all watched that game and went "how did Arsenal not score 5/6 goals?", we didn't come away saying West Ham were brilliant and deserving of the win (don't get me wrong, if a team doesn't take their chances they don't deserve to win), so it's not surprising to see the game play out this way when you tried it again and playing this way at home in my opinion is completely unacceptable from a team that is fighting for European places. You've got some seriously talented players in your team and I know there's a few injuries but playing a right back on the left wing immediately sends the message that you have no intention of having a go. At the end of the day it's only 1 game, it's only 1 result, but I think that performance shows how far you are off teams like Arsenal despite having a solid team and I think the biggest talent gap is in the coaches, not the players.

We are devoit of attacking tactics. I’ve said it for a while. Spot on with the patterns of play. We have no passing patterns that can unlock defenses. Look at Bournemouth and Brighton, the football they play would leave the fans ver happy. I really don’t understand what moyes does with the squad management either. It’s all over the place I remember multiple times feeling like he had given up on Fornals and benrhama only for him to turn to them again when they are at their lowest in confidence and MATCH SHARPNESS. Match sharpness is something we underate and nothing prepares you for matches like actually playing.

Wasn't expecting that to be honest, felt like West Ham had us figured out the last two matches, so although I felt we'd win if we played our best, I thought it would still be a close match. Saka has the ability to cross on his weak foot, but at least make him do that to get the goal, obviously don't let him come inside on his left. No pressure on our keeper at crosses, no clever 'needle' just losing heads. I'll take it obviously but I'm actually worried we'll take the next game too lightly because West Ham let us play so well.

Losing to Arsenal wasn't a surprise. Arteta adapted. Moyes didn't bother. It wouldn't have hurt us as much if we beat Sheffield and Bournemouth and got 6 points from those games instead of 2. The loss against Man United and Arsenal would have been evened out and we would still be top 6 or 7. I'd criticise the players for this game, but Moyes overall for the player choices and strategies this year. Also we need new coaching staff. They are playing football 2 decades old. It's pathetic to sit in the stadium and watch such poor quality play. Sick of it.
It feels like the team did the ‘hard’ work in the first half of the season and since there was a bit of a breather with fixtures in Jan, they relaxed and don’t seem set on competing as much. Alvarez was lost on where to be and didnt know whether to press White or stay on Odegaard, and that little indecision caused 4 goals towards the end of the first half. it wasnt positional rotation at all, thats just copium, it was ONE tactical tweak.

The worst thing to happen to West Ham was conceding the first goal! This forced you to start chasing the game which was exactly what Arsenal was expecting. Had you gone ahead, the game would probably turn out differently as Arsenal would then had to chase. You spent huge amount of effort chasing the game in the first half. By half time you’ve literally run out of steam. To top it all off, the ref added 7 extra minutes!! That completely killed you!!

We are devoit of attacking tactics. I’ve said it for a while. Spot on with the patterns of play. We have no passing patterns that can unlock defenses. Look at Bournemouth and Brighton, the football they play would leave the fans ver happy. I really don’t understand what moyes does with the squad management either. It’s all over the place I remember multiple times feeling like he had given up on Fornals and benrhama only for him to turn to them again when they are at their lowest in confidence and MATCH SHARPNESS.
Match sharpness is something we underate and nothing prepares you for matches like actually playing.
I feel asleep and had a wonderful sleep listening to lawless crying. Very soothing sound and I only wish I could bottle the tears as well.

Wasn't expecting that to be honest, felt like West Ham had us figured out the last two matches, so although I felt we'd win if we played our best, I thought it would still be a close match.
Saka has the ability to cross on his weak foot, but at least make him do that to get the goal, obviously don't let him come inside on his left. No pressure on our keeper at crosses, no clever 'needle' just losing heads.
I'll take it obviously but I'm actually worried we'll take the next game too lightly because West Ham let us play so well.

@@tomsheern4741 Yeah but that's kind of what I mean, that we take way too many chances before a goal comes and you can smash and grab a win with some pressure on our keeper and crosses into the box. They just let us take our chances (and we still missed a few) and there was no fight at all, just seemed weird like their players were disappointed in the transfer window or something and gave up after the first goal.

Losing to Arsenal wasn't a surprise. Arteta adapted. Moyes didn't bother. It wouldn't have hurt us as much if we beat Sheffield and Bournemouth and got 6 points from those games instead of 2. The loss against Man United and Arsenal would have been evened out and we would still be top 6 or 7. I'd criticise the players for this game, but Moyes overall for the player choices and strategies this year. Also we need new coaching staff. They are playing football 2 decades old. It's pathetic to sit in the stadium and watch such poor quality play. Sick of it.

It feels like the team did the ‘hard’ work in the first half of the season and since there was a bit of a breather with fixtures in Jan, they relaxed and don’t seem set on competing as much. We’re gonna slide down the league so quickly now.

all that arsenal did to start scoring was stop benny blanco overlapping, and have him as an extra body in midfield to free up Odegaard. Alvarez was lost on where to be and didnt know whether to press White or stay on Odegaard, and that little indecision caused 4 goals towards the end of the first half. it wasnt positional rotation at all, thats just copium, it was ONE tactical tweak.

The worst thing to happen to West Ham was conceding the first goal! This forced you to start chasing the game which was exactly what Arsenal was expecting. Had you gone ahead, the game would probably turn out differently as Arsenal would then had to chase. You spent huge amount of effort chasing the game in the first half. By half time you’ve literally run out of steam. To top it all off, the ref added 7 extra minutes!! That completely killed you!!

8th in the league and won your first trophy for over 40 years just a few months ago. Playing good football and winning is a fantasy lots of fans have, but its not reality for the vast majority of clubs. Be grateful for where you are and be more realistic.

When Arsenal bully West Ham on corners you know something is wrong. Moyes deserves till the end of the season but the reality is your best option is a Potter. A progressive style of football, knocking on the door of Europa qualification and an exciting team to watch. Yes, you are a stepping stone becoz top talents will come & go on to bigger things but that's the reality as a Hammers fan. Don't tear down everything Moyes has done, just sometimes a club needs a new direction.

Moyes has taken us full circle, from awful to half-decent and now back to awful. Time to go. A new manager and a player clear-out are badly needed. Ward-Prowse goes missing. Zouma and Soucek aren't sharp enough or fit enough to cut it in the Premier League. Phillips doesn't fit. Weak bench. We're in a right mess.
That was not our worst performance we’ve played like that most off the season that’s just the first time someone has took advantage off the way we play at home we’ve already had our spankings away from home and if we continue to play defensively we will get more off the same soon
Sorry to say but won or lost I've not enjoyed watching us play one bit this season. It's just not an entertaining style watching the opposition have the ball for most of the game in the hope you can maybe counter attack.
