- This video shows the Killer Instinct Gold Ultra combos and how they look. I personally feel that this is still better than than the Killer Instinct One game for the Xbox One; however, I've played the XB1 version and it's not all that bad. But to me, it doesn't have the true "KI" feel as KI1/KI2/KIG.

Something I like in the N64 version, as opposed to the arcade, is that the ultra combos have that slight zoom in. Just so you can get a real feeling of "This isn't natural, you're done, put the controller down, watch the show~"

The 3 greatest fighting games of all time are street fighter mortal kombat and killer instinct lol tekken and soul calibur are not even close so ki is up there with mk and street fighter

Hello Terrence. I know you are a big KI fan so what are your thoughts on KI 3? Are you going to buy it? And the Xbox one?
I used to be able to these combos on the N64. Then they added this on Rare Replay but for some reason I can't get any of the linkers to work when I want. It's very frustrating. Have you played this on the Rare Replay version?

How do you do those super ultra enders?, they are not the normal enders, or at least the ones I'm getting, like Fulgore's Ultra, in wich you get a teleport into a super claw uppercut, and I always get another laser beam after he lands. Please how? Nice vid BTW!
Its probably one of his normal moves in a combo sequence. In the snes version, it was his "low anti air uppercut" that caused his ultra. Some characters had different ways to do it. I remember sabrewulf you had to do reverse half circle then weak kick (or forward diagonal down forward down diagonal down back back weak kick).

They need to speed up the fighting for the last killer insticnt game they made on xbox one they do combos slow as hell on the newest 1 they need to make a turbo mode or something . Thats why i loveed this 1

1:50 what ever happened to the camera pull back when knocking someone in the air? Makes it looks more grand how it momentarily catches all the environment.
Come on everybody, I agree the new Killer Instinct is not as great as the original ones but still is a fun game to play. I think is better than Street Fighter V and Mortal Kombat X.

Anthony Cook I haven't played KI3 yet. I've seen it and it reminds me too much of Street Fighter in all honesty. I prefer KI1/KI2 over Ki3. Maybe if Microsoft decides to do a PC version of the latest Killer Instinct that's currently on Xbox one, I'll try it out ...

The original KI2 is better than KI Gold. Even the unfinished KI for Xbox-One is better than KI Gold.
I wasn't too impressed with KI3 honestly. It seems too much like the Street Fighter and capcom games and doesn't stand out like it did back in the day. If they would have just brought back a port of KI 1, KI2, or KIG in HD onto the Xbox One or PS4 with the same combos, physics, and setup, it would have been better honestly in my opinion. It still looks to be a good game, but I don't think it would compare to the original KI1 and KI2/KIG.

They made KIX a little too novice friendly but it's still good.

What's with all the hate towards the xbox1 version!? It's still an amazing game. Who cares if it's not as good as the originals? Also, KI3 kicks ass when compared to SFV, so don't even compare.

I didn't remember the graphics and animation being so bad in this game. KI 1 arcade looked and played way better than this abomination. Also the ultra are weak af most of them repeating weird hits like orchid and glacius
