- Erin and Maisie continue their co-writing project with some character development, backstories, and an attempt at moving some of these new ideas into a plot. Tune in next week as we begin to hammer down a structured plot!
Additionally, please let us know if there's anything you'd like to see us doing during this project! Or if you have any ideas for better uploading/update methods. Great video! The excitement and brainstorming process that goes into crafting something new like this is definitely my favorite part. I've been teaming up with friends to write projects a lot lately and it does add a whole new level to the whole thing. I feel like you really learn a lot from how other people approach things compared to how you do it, then combining those two ways of doing things really gives you a whole new experience that is really enjoyable. If you have writer friends that are down to do stuff like this I highly recommend trying it out.
The brainstorming process is definitely one of my favorite parts of the whole thing! And I totally agree, I feel like I learn so much from other writers and listening to what differs about the process. I've adapted a few things I learned from writer friends that have really worked well for me.
As a writer without a writing friend or writers' group, this is filling a void and reminding me how fun it is to brainstorm a story.

I've just started watching this series and I'm so happy I did! I've had such writer's block, thinking that I have no ideas so there's no point in sitting down to write, but seeing you brainstorm something great out of nothing has been so inspiring! I started working on a story again last night :)
I don't even like horror but I need to read this story now.
