esther njeri that's the thing that I like about them. I never heard they made 'troubles' /bad attitude-lifestyle despite of their fame. Their fame didn't make them 'lost'. The lads only concern about Westlife & become a good ambassador for their country. Irish should be proud having them :) Now even they split up, I'm happy knowing that Nicky, Shane, Kian are happy with their family now. They have adorable kids. And I hope Marky will find his soulmate soon :)

Other music superstars in their rise to stardom got into drug abuse, liquor addiction, cigarette habits, troubled marital lives, destructive pride, etc. Somehow West Life survived Music World fame. Each one is a talent in his own right. But what makes them Stars is how they come to the group , join and blend to make a whole!! They knew when it is their turn to each step up and shine, and then step back and blend. No one tries to steal anyone else's thunder. They really seem to like each other!

That's why u see a lot of people who say they're reminded of their childhood when they hear a Westlife song, people still hear westlife songs on the radio until now, westlife songs are commonly sang in karaoke, even my 53 yr old dad had sung westlife songs on karaoke. Westlife songs are used in weddings, funerals, and english books-you can't say that with any bsb song.
