We've been a Fulltone dealer since 1998 - in 25 years we might have sent one or maybe two pedals back for service - that's an impossible record to beat! Here's something we'd really like everyone to know - during the 2020 shutdowns when many small businesses including ours were closed and hobbling by online only, we received an order that we had placed earlier with Fulltone - and inside there were 5 extra OCD's. On the invoice where it listed the prices it said "stimulus package - $0" on that line. We thought there must be some mistake so we called Fulltone and they said it was their way of helping out during that tough time. I'm sure they were affected and uncertain what was going to happen just like everyone else was at that time, but they chose to perform an amazing random act of kindness and generosity and we will never forget it. We'll be happy and proud to offer these legendary pedals to our customers again, welcome back Fulltone!
That is a truly fantastic service record. Exceptionally great.
Fulltone is a great company and Mike Fuller is a great guy, but don't tell that to the virtue signaling woke a-holes who got triggered simply because Mike tells the truth and sees reality.
I don't see that as just an act of kindness, but a manifestation of Fuller's thoughtfulness, which is evident in everything he is doing.
That's very touching 👍
Awesome story!
I worked 10 years for fulltone im glad to see it back ,i still have the pay raise stubs signed by mike, mike allways been fair to me ,there was some unfortunate dynamics that made the job harder then it needed to be ,but i can proudly say in 10 years i never missed a day of work unless i requested a day off ,with that said there are many pedals with my initials outthere made with love, and may this collaboration be fruitfull because one thing is for sure mike is what the american dream is about:)
I'm so glad mike's and his staff of dedicated employees are back making pedals again ..i got my OCD ver 1.4 on order..also gonna order other Fulltone gear..thanks Fulltone
Saw you at NAMM, good talk. Very happy to see this video. Good on Ya!❤
Will we be able to get our tape echo cartridges replaced?
Repairs? I still have all my Fulltone from late 90's and early aughts. They need some love!!
I've bought 9 Fulltone pedals and still have 8 of them. They're outstanding devices. Well designed, great sounds, and built like tanks. Wishing Fulltone ongoing success. They truly deserve it!
Wish I trusted my gut and bought the Clyde instead of the Dunlop Crybaby
@@brianwood7237 I gave my crybaby away for free to a neighbor after getting the Clyde Deluxe.
I love my Fulltone MDV Customshop Deja Vibe it's killer x
What a great guy Mike Fuller has proved to be.
Years ago I had an issue with my OCD Pedal, I called the Fulltone telephone number listed in the literature (I had a hum issue from an external power supply).
To my total surprise Mr. Fuller answered the phone and spent close to 10 minutes with me explaining the importance of a "Switching Power Supply".
I mean, I'm just a guy, one of the millions of unknown players, and yet he gave me respect and took the time out of his day to assist and teach me.
It was at that moment Fulltone became my favorite Pedal manufacturer.
that is the sweetest thing. I love hear that. Mike is genuinely a kind person. - Brad Jackson
Cool story, HK. Nice to see your comments out in the wild
And I have 2 similar stories! Mike lives just outside the Nashville city limits I think. But where are the pedals made? When and how do I add to my collection?
yes had a similar conversation with him regarding his custom made power supply that simply will not buzz. i told him my deja vibe was buzzing no matter what power supply i used, and if i should send it to him for repair. he asked if i was using HIS power supply and i said no, and being a little arrogant i said that really shouldnt matter, but he firmly stated that his power supply was better and "switching", which i never heard of....i bought one of his, plugged it in and it was 100% quiet....tried it on some of my vintage pedals that ALWAYS buzzed and.... low and behold, zero noise at all. f'n hero.
he needs to make a pedal bank.
also his pedals are not for the bedroom players - like so many other pedals that are suited better for low volume stuff, and sound marginal on stage. his stuff comes alive on tube amps and at high volume. such great news, i thought it was an end of an era...huge!!!
This is great news. After going through a million drive pedals, I finally got a Fulltone Full Drive 2 and realized it was head and shoulders above anything I’d tried before. The range of sound, the beautiful harmonics and purity of tone. The build quality-US made, of course-is second to none. I was bummed to hear Mike was burnt out and was closing. This is a perfect marriage. Congrats. Thrilled Fulltone will be sticking around.
Heck yes! I've been a Fulltone user for couple of decades! Best of tomorrow for you both!
My Choralflange is the first pedal I owned where I said "that sound is beautiful". I haven't really said it since that I remember. I really was blown away by that pedal. I have 3 other Fulltone pedals and they are all really great.
Still use the v1 wah to this day, my longest standing pedal and rightfully so.
Totally Stoked. Fulltone is/was always my favorite brand of pedals. So glad to hear this news!
This is awesome!
Saw the guys at NAMM what a fantastic company , after chatting for while you can see the passion that drives these people to build what they do. So happy Fulltone is back in action teaming up with Jackson Audio omg can't wait to see what the future brings !!!!
What great news!!!! I love my Fulltone Pedals...
Beautiful, my favourite company is back!!
Way cool - new TERC anyone?
Tube amps and Fulltone pedals and a TTE is all we need….great to hear that Fulltone is back!
I’ve always thought Fulltone were out back in the 60’s! They seem to have been around forever!!
Love 1st generation Plimsoul overdrive pedal! Coupled with EL34 tube amps gets a heavenly guitar tone to die for!!!!
Happy to hear this! FYI, my favorite overdrive pedal is easily the OCD 1.7. I've tried Klon klones, tube screamers, "transparent overdrives", etc. All great and have their purposes, but I keep coming back to stomp on that ol' white enclosure.
My OCD 1.7 is my number 1 as well. It has dynamics, complexity of tone. Sounds awesome. I also love danelectro transparent overdrive v1 and it is awesome as well. Both stack very well
Good on you Brad to bring Fulltone back and keeping Mike involved. This is great news for guitar players! I own over 20 Fulltone pedals...Love every one of them!
Great news!
I've pretty much replicated Robin Trower's Fulltone pedalboard (actually no board, they get taped down to the stage) and couldn't be happier, except I still can't fully work out using 3 different drive pedals (2 in the FullDrive, 1 in the RTO) but my rig sounds great! Welcome back!
Wow, what an awesome collaboration. I was sad when I heard Mike was retiring and the legacy of of his amazing contribution to guitar tone was coming to an end. This really makes me happy to know that his legacy will continue and evolve with new designs for us to enjoy and be inspired by. Congratulations and thank you both for your passion and dedication to creating amazing tone tools.
Retiring? Well, that's one way to say it
I'm on board.
This is great news! Was sad to hear that Fulltone had been shut down, so I'll be looking forward to what will be coming down the road.
SOOOOO HAPPPYYYYY !!!! This is GREAT! Fulltone make some of the BEST pedals!
Pedals come on and off of my board regularly but one thing that has never left my board, since i bought it, is the fulldrive 3. Happy to see fulltone coming back.
YEAH BABY! Welcome back Michael! Long-time user. I have five of is pedals and I love everyone of them.
Best guitar industry news of the year. Long live Fulltone! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Still have my OCD and it's not going anywhere. This is great news!
Yes yes, yes,,, I have many Fulltone guitar pedals, love them to this very day! Never was a big Mike Fuller fan, he's way to stressed out and kinda rude to his customers, glad that he's got a new lease on life with a company that's gonna keep the product going.. Hey Mike,, "RELAX" Brad Jackson's got your back..
Wahooooooo!!!!!!! This is awesome! 😃😁🙃
Glad to hear it! The OCD and Plimsoul are my go to pedals for sweet overdrive tones. Welcome back!
This is fantastic news!! I can’t wait to see what comes from this!
I would love to see an OCD dual pedal of some sort. I can't live without my OCD and it pairs nicely with lots of other drives. It would be great to see it in a dual pedal coupled with something else, or even just 2 OCD's in one pedal. I would buy it!
I picked up a Full Drive 3 that is almost the OCD with a boost option. I have them in separate boards.
Good news indeed! Thanks to these two for working it out...
Awesome!!! Best of luck and we look forward to s great future!
Great to see. Congratulations Brad!
Awesome news!! Such a great story. Welcome back!
I'm really happy about this great news!
Worked at Fulltone for years. Miss those people.
They should hire you.
Whatever happened to the legendary RICO?
Excellent news!
I'm so happy about this return!
Very cool…looks like a great partnership.
Wishing you both the best of luck.
Guitar player in Georgia.
It warms my heart to see that Mike and Fulltone are back. I'm a dedicated Fulltone user and have the Robin Trower Overdrive, Secret Freq, white MDV2 and white Clyde Wah. The workmanship and quality of Fulltone pedals are amazing. I did develop an issue with the Clyde and was hoping Mike and Jackson Audio will offer repairs or provide some guidance that might help me resolve it. Thanks for bringing Fulltone back. Now I need to get a white OCD to add to my arsenal. You guys are the BEST!❤
This is great news... I have a v1 OCD that is a staple on my board.
Looks like a great partnership! Be blessed fellas!
Fulltone is top quality gear! As long as it stays in Mike's hands and keeps up quality/orders, they should be back on top just on Fulltones history of boutiques
There have been a number of his pedals that I’ve loved. I had a V1 ocd on my board for over 10 years.
Oh yeah !!
The sun is shining on the guitar world today.
Glad to hear it! Love my Ranger, '69. and Supa-Trem II.
Right On! Totally stoked to learn this news! Go guys!
Fulltone pedals with MIDI control and Jackson Audio modes & modules!!! WHAT!?!?!
Sounds like the perfect combo!
yeah, midi is so rock'n'roll... pure Fulltone style
Yay, I hope the support and parts department is as good as it used to be. I always had a great experience obtaining things to fix broken Fulltone pedals for myself or other customers.
I love my Fulltone pedals, very unique tonal qualities. And built like a 'Sherman' tank! Cheers!
The 2B has been at the start of my signal since I got it
This is awesome! Can’t wait to try everything!
Owned a Fulldrive 2 and an OCD. Plimsoul and Deja vibe have been on my wishlist. This is awesome news
I grew up playing Fulltone products too! This warms my heart to hear, and can’t wait to see/hear what y’all do!
YES!!! Fulltone is back!! My first “boutique” pedal was a Fulltone Full Drive. I owned several Fulltone products over the years. I think this will be a great partnership and hopefully is rewarding to both Mike Fuller and Brad and his great team.
Mike has always been great to me. He was the first boutique pedal builder here in the USA. I still use them after all these years. So glad he's back.
The Plimsoul is my favorite overdrive
mine too!
Great news
Cool! Still love my OCD - never get rid of it!
Yes!!!
Oh wow! Didn’t see this coming. Very cool.
I wonder if this announcement has Warm Audio nervous at all. Their recently -released ODD drive, intentionally meant to simulate OCDs in light of Fulltone shutting their doors, now feels precariously close to infringement. The trade dress of the two products are nearly identical.
The right thing for them to do would be to quietly cease production,.. or at least change the name and look of the pedal.
sounds exactly like the BS you'd hear form Fuller, and a continue lack of understanding of trademark / copyright law. bullying and litigation threat would impact more than any standing on merit.
Welcome BACK!!!!!!
Always loved the enclosures
I've know Mike Fuller since the very first stomp switch I purchased. To say he was an inspiration for my business would be an understatement. Over the decades he has always been kind to me and we even worked on a potential project at one time! I wish Brad and Mike the best of luck. It sounds like everyone's minds and hearts are in the right place.
Awesome, 2 GREAT brands… Love Fulltone pedals my OCD and Clyde Deluxe will never leave my board 🤘🏻
Ditto
Welcome back ❤
This reminds me as if 2 of the greatest musicians joined forces to make an impact to the world through their gifting… So many times it has fallen short because of pride!
I feel these 2 gifted men needed each other and the respect for one another will help produce sounds that comes from heaven! Congratulations!!
David H
Yes! Exactly!
I want the new version of the custom shop Plimsoul !! My original Plimsoul is darn near wore out from over 12 years of steady gigging.
Happy to hear Fulltone is back. Great products
Oh yeah! This works! Glad Mike is back!
Glad to see Jackson Audio collaborating and moving forward with Mike’s Fulltone pedals. I am down to two Fulltone pedals atm, the mini deja vibe and the robin trower overdrive pedal. Wishing you both much success and I hope to hear of upcoming pedals and support for existing products.
Yess great
Nice to see among all the others but especially that the HiMu will be back in production, as one of the most recent and highly anticipated releases.
Awesome! Bring back the Ultimate Octave pedal please.
Great!!
Pumped to see this. I still have my V1.1 OCD (serial number 1785). It was my go-to for studio work and was on the road touring with me and on countless boards until 2012 when the DC jack finally gave up and takes power but doesn’t push the op amps. Wish someone could fix it but this was back in the epoxy the circuit board days and nobody will touch it. Maybe one day I’ll get another one to bring that sound back.
Glad to see him still in the game........
Glad to see them coming back!
I am very excited about this! Fulltone is important to the guitar world especially in a world where amp modeling has taken over and some of us purest just want to hear a great amp and some awesome pedals in front of it. Thanks Brad and Mike! Wish you loads of success!
Now that's huge news!
Got 3 Fulltone pedals and looking forward to get more!
So great to have Jackson taking this technology forward. Great video.
Still haven’t found anything I like as much as my ‘99 fulldrive 2. I’ve tried lots. Like… lots.
I have one of those, red encasement, and it's not going anywhere.
are you gunna sell tape for the fulltone tape echos? please.
This makes me extremely happy!
New Mas Malo PLEASE!
Yay! Im Excited. Gonna buy a few of em.
All my favourite overdrives are Fulltone. Happy to see the brand live on.
We have a pile of these and were just about to buy the valve tape delay before he shut the shop. Are you going to make these again? They are killer units. We own an original Echoplex but she’s an old girl now.
When I first played an OCD, I was hooked. It never leaves my board
