If you want char kway teow with strong wok hei, can go try amk char kway teow. At 724 Amk ave 8 hawker centre. Always long queue. Blue signboard beside another famous Yong Tau Fu stall.
Zermatt 的年代讲华语还可以， 到了Megan年代就不一样了。 95年出生后的华语都不行了。我们本地话叫做 jiak kantang. 意识是吃马铃薯长大的。

1. Good.
2. Yeah, taste ‘creamy’ thus filling, so don’t ask for large. Chop into too mushy.
Feel ‘gherlad’ after that.
3. Don’t think they don’t add ‘lupcheong’ which think it’s a must item. I ordered the $5 portion.

到hong lim food centre, 应该去试一下Cantonese Delights - 廣東小吃 （2楼），那边的炸鸡排面、饭超好吃。排队也是跟炒粿条不分上下。有空可以去试吃！

@@alieats Cantonese Delights is great too. Also another stall with friendly owners (ex SQ attendants). I used to work around there. If ever we wanted to eat their food we have to leave our office at 11+ still there is queue forming already. They are very accommodating with the order. Can customise, mix and match 😁I've tried everything on their menu. Also love ordering using Cantonese to a Cantonese haha.

Why Laksa are served with only spoon but not chopsticks is as follows: Street vendors in the past had only wooden stools for their customers but not tables, hence the customers had to use one hand to hold up their bowl n left with only one hand for eating. With only one hand, spoon is preferred over chopsticks cos Laksa is best eaten together with the gravy. This is the version I heard of, cheers!
Also laksa noodle are using lasksa hood which is very short, so is prefer to use spoon

When you walk to the hawker centre from Chinatown point, you will come to the BKT stall. Beside it on the other side of the staircase, the first stall is fish soup. You must absolutely eat that stall. When I ate there a few years ago, the batang fish meat were chunky and super fresh. Super delicious.

不是！laksa 是土生華人的小吃，用的是類似米苔目的laska 粉，所以用湯匙比較容易吃！

I prefer dry style of CKT like Penang kind😛SG ones are mostly very wet and too sweet. BUT I find tried a couple that I quite like. One at Hill Street (yellow zone) Chinatown and another at Old Airport Road Dong Ji. Especially like Dong Ji as it tastes like Penang CKT and fry by per plate.

Penang CKT is the only Penang food I can accept but I still prefer Singapore type , because I’m Teochew

你喜歡新加坡laksa的話，應該也會喜歡馬來西亞砂拉越的laksa。馬來西亞有很多種laksa，各州有自己的特色。
Hong Lim兩家雞肉咖哩麵都不錯，只是有點慢。
炒粿條是比較接近馬來西亞版本的，是星馬兩國人比較可以共同認可的粿條。 想試的人盡量避免午餐時間，因為要拍40分鐘到一個小時，建議早上去吃，不用排隊。
這家雲吞麵還可以，介紹你Toa Payoh的Chef Kang's Noodle House。11.45am前到可以不用排隊。

@@alieats 那你可以升级吃真正的Chef Kang，在Mackenzie Road。是家餐厅，只有五个房间，贵，corkage免费，应该有michelin。推荐soon hock fish soup, steamed crab with glutinous rice, pig stomach soup。
