I think Eric Pacheco’s ceiling could be something similar to Marquese Walker, not ever gonna be a pro guy but definitely has the opportunity to be a great small school college quarterback
I need a "Pachecage" with full on triple option rushing attack with Dingle at the "fullback" and Sperling as the pitch receiver. Plus, using Sperling in the slot could be a great idea as a receiving back he could be a weapon there.
That’s crazy, Leonard at SS was a 78 after year one’s offseason. Did not see the same development. Roy and riser pressley ended up getting drafted for me in the mid rounds Same with sperling.
They do the depth charts that way (left and right) so the cpu doesn’t get screwed by having two really good right guards and a shitty left guard. The cpu can’t position change so that’s what we are left with. It’s better than having the cpu not knowing how to start their best players.
This is why it was stupid to ever code these systems as Left or Right anything, players positions should just be T, G, DE, LB, Edge, etc - then set specific spots in the depth chart
45:25 ice cold take, I’m not a fan of UNC Charlotte but I live there, the logo is a C with a pickaxe in the middle, partly cuz the SF 49ers but the reason they’re called the 49ers is because the school was saved from foreclosure in 1949, a century after the namesake of the Niners but a cool nod nonetheless. Mining is also big part of our states history so the logo makes a ton of sense (I’m pretty sure the C is self explanatory)
You need to go for recruits in the Great Lakes region. Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Also New Jersey too. I was able to build this team up really quick by focusing on recruiting in those areas.
With recruiting the big thing is with leads when the portal opens for players where you have no competition don't put over 25 points, so they progress, but with the portal players from the start 50 would be the way to go until you see what happens, then if competition is too stiff move off. Also finding assistant coaches with scouting will give you a bump in points and definitely helped with scouting early on, though you'll have to do that next year.
Someone mentioned the playbook glitch during the stream but if your recruited players tendencies/overalls get screwed up because you changed the playbook in coach edit you can go through each (recruited)player and change their position to something else then change it back to the original in order to get their original OVR/Tendency back.
I had trouble remembering the new option controls until i started thinking of them as all RPOs. If you want the RB to get it do nothing but same as RPO if you dont hit the button.
JUCOs in this game are not like NCAA14. A 2 star JUCO will have the same overall as a 2 star HS player, not worth ever really recruiting unless it’s a 3 star and you’re desperate. I wish they were rated and ranking similarly to transfers. A 5 star JUCO every few years would be an insane treat!
So it does have to do with the miners and the gold rush. If you just go read about the history of the school, UNC Charlotte, it tells you all about it. Even though it does have something to do with the year 1949 the reason the women advocated to save the school was because she thought it embodied all the spirits of the miners and their journey to California to become gold miners.
Be careful when editing the rookies Equipment, there is a bug that changes numbers - that is also what happened to Martinez in the Hurricanes Dynasty. If you have two players wearing the same number and you click on "edit player" on either one of these players, the other one is automatically asigned to a new number. Only the one you edit (or just click edit on) is keeping the number. Its btw good to know if you dont like any of the recruits numbers to use it as a way to change theirs. Its a bug that should be fixed with the newest update.
I added 2 teams to the big 10 and made divisions. Player the conference championship, and then simmed to the next week and played my final regular season game. Even in the scheduling in the offseason it doesn’t show a game, but week 0 I go into schedule and it shows a game.

I've seen it break without custom conferences. Something about the scheduling system is funky, and custom conferences are only a problem if you don't go in yourself to fix conference games.
@@ikw2828 The best you can do is make sure that every team actually plays conference games by jumping in the conference rules to increase then decrease the number of games and just make sure that it makes sense based on the number of teams. Otherwise, teams like UMass might not play any and the PAC-12 will just have 1 conference game for everyone.

When simming week to week if you want to see the recruiting updates you have to let the xp and ranks screen load and you can page back to the recruiting
I've been playing alongside your videos with Northern Illinois. I went 6-6 with a great rushing attack but way too many interceptions that killed some winnable games
I'm playing as Ball State. Its a fun team to use. Mix of utter garbage and some really talented players. Season 2, and I've finished 6-6 both years, with year 1 going to the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Game, and Y2 I'm playing for the MAC championship. Suffered some crushing defeats though...I blew a 17 point lead with 3 minutes left in the game against Akron. All and all Ball State is a fun program to play through. My biggest complaint has to be the FG's. It's obscenely difficult. Which normally I wouldn't mind, but, when I'm struggling to make 25 yarders, and the CPU is hitting 45-50 yarders with no issues and worse stats than my kicker...it makes it extremely frustrating. Either lower our difficulty, or, make the CPU kickers more realistic.
Only Cane would have the opportunity to have a relatively athletic 6'5 corner and go "Nah man, I wanted a receiver." I completely understand why he'd want to keep Harris at receiver, he just lacks speed at corner too and had an out.
An athlete of his caliber makes much more of a difference on offense when you're talking about a now 0 star program. And who's to say he's playing one position?
@@MrHurriicane I understand both arguments. I think you needed to bring in one more decent receiver to have CB be his objectively best position, you lack overall talent on one side and severely lack athleticism on the other.
I enjoy this game still but the gameplay is a copy of 2014. All the cheese from 2014 is in there. When you play a good team, they aren't necessarily harder instead your team turns into a pop warner team. Blockers running randomly around moving out of the way of def players to allow stops, and throw locations that make no sense. Insta blocks galore, i had a 93 speed player 15 yards to the left of a 78 speed d lineman and in my players two steps forward the lineman traveled 15 yards to make the stop. CB standing in place until the receiver is 5 yards past them before they start to pursue. 3 guys in a zone with nobody to cover and the guy who is supposed to be in the zone where they eventually pass the ball for no apparent reason runs away from his assignment to some empty part of the field or just decides to rush the QB leaving open the entire section of the field he was assigned too. My HB runs into his own players at least half the time on screens and pursuit angles where the defender runs behind, around and then chases the ball carrier where as if they just ran straight they would have run into him. The gameplay is a mess
6 home games in conference. I feel like NCAA games have always been terrible at scheduling. Which is why I roll my eyes when people glaze EA because they eventually decided there was enough money to make in college football despite the NIL changes. It's still the same half baked, buggy, poorly balanced EA slop.

Yes but it's something that happens if you do it wrong. Pre-patch it was fine to go in from editing your schemes, now you need to make sure that you edit your coach or else you can break your whole team and make players fail to progress.
@@989meechy That wouldn't be an issue if the only thing that changed was the fancy number in your depth chart. The problem is that the players get hard edited and broken in a way that removes physical abilities and makes them not get ANY off-season progression.
u probably wont see this but this update ruined the game cpu qbs are trash now only short throws no deep or 3 level passing anymore also no trajectory, throws atleast 2 picks a game, DL is wayyyy over powerd, tackles aren't as clean abunch of glitching, Also ai cbs jump in front of everything down field🤦🏿 cpu rbs/wrs dont do any skill moves anymore tackling is sloppy and buggy
Bit unfair. It's literally impossible for them to test the game to the extent that it would need to be free of bugs. If you hire 100 people to playtest for 100 hours each, you'd still only have 10000 hours. This game has sold millions of copies
