🙏🏻 Thank you for explaining the medical scholarships, Loan payback & a better foundation for what the medical core really is for a physician.

I want to be an anesthesiologist in the navy as well. I was just wondering if you get a typical anesthesiologists salary (200,000-400,000) or a officer or enlisted salary which is much lower.

Great question. In the second video of this series, I breakdown how military physicians are paid! In short, the salary is higher than typical officer pay, but lower than typical anesthesiologist pay. ($150k-250k)

Hi I’m currently a sophomore in high school and I have a question. Let’s say if I want to be a doctor in the navy do I have to have a military scholarship or can I join the navy after I graduate college?

Either way works. You can join the military and work your way up. Eventually using the GI bill to pay for medical school. Alternatively, you can pursue college and medical school as a civilian and then join.
