This is one of my go-to projects when I need artwork for my home. It's so easy to do.
Yes it is!
Awesome!
Thanks for sharing. I prefer oil painting i/o a print. You can find really nice oil paintings for a similar budget. I have a replica of Van Gogh and every time I look at it, it creates a smile on my face. I sometimes still smell the painting (after more than 20 years) and the craftsmanship is part of the art of painting too for me.
What do you mean oil painting oil painting i/o a print, please? BTW, Van Gogh is my favorite too ; )
Fantastic !!! I can’t wait to try this. Thank you ✌🏼🌷
To secure small nails without smashing your fingers - use a pair of needle nose pliers or stick the nail through a piece of paper for a handle.
So smart!!!
You did a wonderful job, you’ve inspired me to try my hand at this technique! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! I had this in mind for a print I found of one of my wife’s favorite paintings, but I had no idea how to go about it. You explained it perfectly and succinctly. Can’t wait to get started.
It's going to look great!
This is fascinating!
thanks, so photos are so beautiful and catch the light at the right time, appreciate you sharing.
Thanks it such a fun easy project and I love the results.
Genius!!
I love the idea that’s it’s so light weight, easy to hang and move.
Yes it is! Thanks!👍🏼
Just beautiful! Definitely going to try!
Thanks!
Great Idea ,Thanks for posting
No problem!
It's easier if you cut the print after it's already been glued to the foam core.
Smart! I’m going to try it!
Great job! Thanks!
You're welcome!
Such a great idea!!!!!!! 🙏🙏👏
I think so too!
Thank you for this video. Also, I appreciate your once-a-month video format. What you share and how you share it makes me feel like I could possible do something similar. I would have a steep learning curve with the technology, but the still camera and chunks of footage work really well and seem doable. Thanks again! I have learned a ton from all your videos.
You are so welcome!😊
This was great..... just what I was looking for. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
I love it. I have a print I'm going to follow your lead. Thank you.
This is one of my favorite DIYs
Very clever!
Thanks so much!
Ive done this before but forgot about it. I am going to do this again and I love your print
It’s one of my favorite ways to upgrade my art.
Beautiful! I love the brush strokes. Well done!
Thanks so much for your kind comment!
Looks great
Nicely done. This comes across especially well if you live in a villa.
Yes. It would look great in a villa.
If you use an awl tool to make your nail holes for the saw tooth it might make it a little easier. Thank you for your presentation.
Great tip!
There’s so many different types of Mod Podge, which type did you use? Love this and going to give it a try.
Hi! I used a matte finish
Well done. I've been wanting to frame a collection of vintage soap wrappers (mainly from Portugal and Italy) in a sort of collage format. Do you think Modge Podge would work as a sealant in my project?
Yes! There are different sheens so if you don’t want it shiny choose the matte finish.
Thanks very much for the advice. Cheers.@@simpleediy
thank you very much for this. I was wondering if you know how a picture is made to look as if it is a real oil on canvas when in fact it is a copy. Than you.
No, sorry
on what paper you took the print? even leveling by hand directly on print, is it laminated?
It’s not laminated. I used MPix to print the photo on archival paper.
Beautiful
Please can you share the link of the print…Love it
Sorry! I don’t have the link but I found it on Etsy.
How does the mod podge hold up as it ages? Any color changes?
Not so far!!!
Ahhh, you used Matte Mod Podge... I only have Gloss. Wonder if that'll work?
It will work. The result will be shinier.
What type of a white gloss paint? Thanks
It isn’t a paint. It’s a sealer called Mod Podge.

Thanks for responding to me. At first, I thought you ignored my question. 😁👌
How long did it take to dry?
Maybe a couple of hours
😍🤩😍
I used wood glue instead of Mod Podge. Can there be bad consequences from wood glue?
I wouldn’t use wood glue! 👍🏼😊
use nose pliers and a smaller hammer to hammer in the small nails.
Great tip!
Is the print from temu? Thank you.
Etsy
@@simpleediy I got my from temu.
Read your "Modge Podge" label, it says MOD PODGE!!!
You’re right! 😂
LOL I see a lot of folks jumped on you for continually calling it "Modge Podge", so I'll spare you. :D
Yes! Definitely should have checked the spelling!👍🏼
Frames are getting more expensive
Yes they are! Sometimes I find great frames at thrift stores!👍🏼
MOD Podge not Modge Podge - that said, I really enjoyed your video!
Oh thank you!
According to the label, the product is Mod Podge, not Modge Podge. Thank you.
You’re right!👍🏼😂
Funny how so many people say modge podge!
Get a grip 😂
LOL, that’s such a petty thing to correct someone on.
@@1shoover ASSuming she is an expert is delusional. They are just regular people like you and I sharing their crafts, the way THEY do them! If you want an expert, then pay for one. Instead, you are on here chastising someone for FREE information. Get a grip! Not every one speaks the same with the same dialect. Let’s get rid of all accents around the world and have one universal language 🤷🏻♀️ with the way you think! She can say modge Podge if she damn well pleases! If you’re going to correct one person, then let’s correct everyone on every little nitpicking indifference Karen!
I think if you say MODGE PODGE one more time I am going to scream….you say it over and over and it is”MOD” PODSGE. Look at your label. Other than that annoying thing this is a good video😅
😂😂😂
Very old idea that is past it's time. It will look as cheap and fake as it is.
So what? If people like it, just do it. Not everybody has to like it.
I totally agree that if someone likes it they should. Just like if someone wants green grass carpet throughout their house and wacky colors and patterns on their walls they should do whatever they want.
What a nasty comment. You should probably have another cheap scotch and dream about the paint by numbers you're working on
Art is very personal. If you love it in your space and it’s beautiful and makes you feel good…go for it! I love this idea!!!
Ok Karen
I love this print. Where did you get it
I got it on Etsy. I wish I had a link to share.
