      I've seen a few clips from this trial, but haven't been an avid viewer - although, I did happen to see this part live earlier, and it was interesting to see her constantly address her answers to the jury. Presumably she's been coached into doing this, but it seems to make her less trustworthy rather than more so - none of the answers seem natural, but instead like staged reactions.
      Other than what I watched live earlier (which involved her being cross-examined), any other clips may potentially have been cherry-picked to support Depp, so without having seen the whole trial, it's hard to say conclusively. But what I have seen certainly doesn't paint her in a good or honest light.

      Hitting someone isn't assault in my book. Americans have a low threshold for that. You guys yell ASSAULT the moment someone touches you. There's many videos on YT where a cop grabs a person and says "you're being detained" and the person is yelling back "why are you assaulting me". Fucking ridiculous. For all we know they might have hit each other and it just happens to be that johnny got the worst of it. But defending him without concrete evidence is just as stupid as defending amber. You guys don't get anything out for it yet you choose a team by judging evidence from afar. Evidence that even the court struggles to identify as legit. Yet the masses in public have got it figured out. Laughable.

AH says she never assaulted JD and she never could, because in her mind, you only assault someone when your violence causes injury. This is the truth. I have a close family member who was abused by a narcissist. Eventually they got divorced. The abused would get triggered anytime she had to even discuss her abuser. He would reach out to her with email, etc over and over (just like Amber did to Depp with text messages) when they weren't together anymore. Every message was triggering. She was extremely afraid to see him in court and made sure to settle out of court so she wouldn't have to see him face to face as she would have been a nervous/anxious and probably hysterical mess at having to relive any of the moments of the abuse.
      What Amber appears to be doing is justifying why she isn't reacting like the typical abused person would. Any sane person will see right through that lie. Anyone who's been abused absolutely will see right through that lie. Amber does not act at all like an abuse victim.

      In court in 2016, she's got a bruise, that's gone the next day.
      ANY time she may of gotten hurt was a result of her attacking Depp first. He says he accidentally headbutt her trying to get her off him, and scrapped her toes with a door after he locked himself in a room to get away from her.

      @@sherixxn1420 You do realize that what she says and and do, specially her body language during questioning, she contradicts everything she claims. She said she is afraid of Johnny, but clearly shows signs of condescension and arrogance when being questioned, and often times we can see her hold back a laugh specially when it was times when her assault on Johnny was being brought up, because it seemed hilarious to her that JD is getting hurt. + There is a constant in real abuse victims, when facing their abusers they will feel a tremendous pressure weighing down on them, each individual will react differently, like summon courage to face them but other would be overwhelmed by fear, but it would still show on how they move, and talk.

    In a way I'm really grateful for Amber Heard. You know why? Because of this person, who is dead set on convincing the world that Johnny Depp is a monster, is so piss poor at lying, and has overwhelming evidence against her, still tries to convince everyone that she is the victim. We needed this from her. We needed Amber Heard to take a stand against Johnny. Without her, the norm is that 'women are always the victim' and that 'men can never be the victim'. She is in a very short space of time forcing the narrative to flip and make everyone realise that it is in fact possible and that we as society need to change the way we think. Men can be abused too, men are often not believed, men struggle to speak out because of ridicule and the likely chance that they are not believed and this all needs to change. Everyone needs to be listened to equally and facts need be heard before making these assumptions that women are always the victim and men are always the aggressor.

    • @stormfaring
      @stormfaring Pƙed rokem +1

      Yes exactly. For all this trial is chaos and confusion at least we can set a precedent. Any abuse victim needs to be listened to and supported and denying a man was abused because of his gender is cruel. I hope this trial falls in Depp's favour because for the other male victims out there it would begin to set the record straight.
