At some point Yasuo gets a sick buff and all the Mogwai decks will become Tier 0. Everybody will hate Yasuo. Like everyone hated mono Shurima. You heard it here first.
Yep, mono Shurima for a long ass time was considered a meme deck even after Xerath came out. Now I think Thralls is in the same scenario because people are tired of facing it.
I think Yasuo decks already have a decent home with newly added the Mourned and buffed Katarina. Strategic execution also added a bit edge to it. The problem with Yasuo is that his deck have to apply pressure with stuns and recalls synergy, but that was never possible to do considering that Katarina was garbage and there was no any other way to buff up your Fae Bladetwirler proactively. Some people say that Yasuo needs a "boat", but I think it is not necessary. Other champions don't need boats, so why does Yasuo have to. Classic stun archetype just needs other ways to apply pressure besides Yasuo. Katarina, The Mourned and Srrategic Execution do just that.
@@9zetsu it needed it, because not drawing Yasuo is game over, i mean sometime you can win with the Fae, the legion general gain you some time, but that's pretty much it, that's also why Viego Shurima is popular, the deck relly a lot on Viego and with shurima, you have protection and tutor for him, sometime you can win with the hydravine, and in the noxus version, you can win with the deserter, but without drawing Viego, your winrate drops a lot. For Yasuo you're tied to either noxus or Targon or Jhin, legion general is not strong enaugh to rely on, jhin is a little akward, but migth be the best option and Targon offer nothing that feed on stun/recall. so i think the new addition to the game offer new possibility to play wihtout yasuo, but your winrate still drop a lot without him.
I’ve been running 3 Strategic Executions in my yasuo decks and I find it a really interesting win condition, trying out 2 annie’s and 1 kat for a better early game pressence and baiting out removal for a very cheap price. By turn 6 sometimes you have a 11/11 fearsome for 6 mana, awesome value I believe running copies of the mourned is not worth enough because more often than ever you’ll find that enemies will use removal pretty easily on her and she gets blocked quite easily. I found out that pairing arachnoid sentry with spell slinger is just an awesome extension for ravenous flock combo. I also happen to run 3 intimidating roars because of the meta being so wide on board recently. It is awesome agains illaoi scouts and aggro jhin decks, counters annie and paired with yasuo on board you’ll find it devastating. (Rare to happen tho) I won a lot of games where I didn’t draw Yasuo just because I had strategic executions in my deck. I am a believer that sooner Everytime we are going to have 2-2-2 champ distribution instead of the vanilla 3-3 builds , and that sounds fun because the deck variety will depend more on what you are going to focus on and bring more decks and real duels of who is going to play it better

Honestly, Legion Deserter should just have Fearsome, because Overwhelm is just preventing a lot of design possibilities for other "everywhere" cards. I love playing Wraiths. It's probably my favorite deck to play especially after Harrowing Return and Haunted Tomb have made it a bit stronger. I would hate to have another archetype like this be horribly weak or too binary because Legion Deserter exists, and he's one of the main reasons Viego is so strong right now.
I literally made this deck 2 days ago, and i discover that i really prefer the targon version with Malphite, because targon have sustain for you to win against ALL the burning decks on the meta, and is good with dealing and removing all of that massive treats that are there, like the observer and viego, so as much as i agree that this version is more agressive and mid ranged oriented, the targon suits me better because feels more like "My control Yasuo deck" than "I punch you, and i have a Yasuo on my deck"

So it turns out, when you spawn tenticles with a overgrown snapvine, it spawns that many snapvines. Wondering if there's a good way to utilize this and give my boy snapvine some play.
I'm all for you taking a day or two off to take a break when needed. We all need some downtime, even from a fun card game. If you are still looking for deck ideas, I've had fun with Bard Yuumi with the Fae package. Attach counts towards Bard's level up so you can level him up pretty quick. Plus giving thicc units elusive is pretty neat. You know if you want to feature another degenerate archetype that's fallen out of favor!
