I like how in the breaking minigame, destroying the vehicle has Dr. Fetus come out and text about how teenagers broke his "car," but if you destroy it as him, he still pulls out the phone and says the same thing anyways. It was pretty funny to see.
I like how even in the sequel Tofu Boy is still laughable pathetic, makes it better that Team Meat still included their jab at PETA. Unlock requirements should've been different though.
I think the alternative requiements could be you need to go through a level with enemies and beat it without hurting them or something like that given why tofu boy was made in the first place
There should be a trick that the government should use. Like making the hand scanner look like you scan your whole hand but the only thing the government had to use to scan is their god damn middle finger
Here's how Tofu Boy seems to work (figured this out after doing an entire playthrough with him): You lose stamina when jumping/punching/dashing. You seem to lose stamina when running as well, but not when sliding. So you want to slide as much as possible. Recovering stamina either requires a wall or completely exhausting Tofu Boy. It does only take one short breath to recover all his stamina though, which is nice. The more stamina you lose, the lower your jumps and the slower Tofu Boy is, which makes certain segments impossible without resting.
F-Meat is a reference of F-Zero, and F-Mega is a reference to F-Zero, both start with M, super meat boy is a jojo reference (F mega is from JoJo's bizarre adventure)
I already love how terrible Tofu Boy is, both in Super Meat Boy *which is accessed by typing “petaphile” in the character select screen,* and Super Meat Boy Forever *which can be randomly encountered in a level with 60 pacifiers.*

I love Meat Sona because of just how stupidly awesome they handled him. But honestly why couldnt we get Young Meat Ninja and a skin for bandage girl instead of just aging them. Imagine hearing the Summon Gas sound each time you free airdash. As for Dr.Fetus, yeah i kinda expected him to do what he does but it would be awesome to have him use random weapons too, like rocket launcher and circular saws, hell even use the ingame animations why not?. Just tossing ideas since you cant make a varied roster when the game basically requires you to have consistentcy unless your Tofu Boy

Seeing Dr. Fetus use weapons like in the first game would've been quite amazing. I think that the best way to handle that would be to include a toggle for different gameplay mechanics as different characters. Perhaps if you decided to use it, you wouldn't be able to get S/A+ Ranks, pacifiers rewards etc... Or you could just not care about balance at all, like the first game.
I mean, using stuff like sawblades while crouching and a explotion whenever he wall jumps would fit him quite well. But that'd also mean no middle finger

Thanks. No, everyone is the same, other than Tofu Boy. In a way, I do appreciate that, as at least now you an play as any character and nobody will say that you made it easier for yourself. Although it would have been interesting to still have different gameplay mechanics as an option you could toggle. And regarding Tofu Boy, I might experiment with him a bit in the future and try to do some challenge runs. Mostly done with the game other than the 726% walkthrough video, so everything else are optional challenges that I might do alongside other games now. I would like to see a custom level editor or mods though. It's probably the only reason why I still play Celeste and Terraria. Mods/custom levels really do add a lot to a game. And it's not that the games are bad, it's just that after a while doing the same things becomes a bit boring. Speedrunning and certain other challenges are the only things I can think of that would make it more enjoyable without mods.

I think working around restrictions like these can be considered itself a puzzle. I think a lot of the most active games past their initial hype are the ones in which the community itself produces content (via mods and fangames, for example). I have ideas! For the dr fetus's (aka dr fetus & classic dr fetus) sometimes the enemy's wont kill them (for the one that aren't needed) . For the relationship goals character maybe a multiplayer option? Manic could have floaty jumps.

I'm pretty happy that they did, although whether or not certain levels are possible seems to be seed dependent (and some might always be impossible). The bosses are also all impossible except for the first one.
They were definitely very nice, but I guess they didn't want to bother with the copyright issues this time around. Although I don't really mind, as the characters present in the game are pretty great.
I did 1 warp zone (the one with Lil Meat vs CHAD), and I got the achievement “Beat every warp zone”. Does that mean I can’t unlock the rest of the warp zone characters?
I would say poor Dr. Fetus, since his car gets messed up 3 times in the video, but he did it himself once, so I'm pretty sure that was his plan all along.

You mean you're having trouble S Ranking the light worlds? My advice is to practice each individual section that gives you trouble until it's consistent enough, and then do the deathless run. Try and find the most consistent strategies as well. Some other advice would be to not do it when you are tired, and to have fun. Other than that, just keep practicing, the levels are all about memorization and figuring out the optimal strategies anyway. There are a few chunks that are pretty precise, but those are just going to require more precision skill from you, which is also improved through practice. Good luck, hope this helps.
Thanks. I might actually try to do all the light levels as Tofu Boy at some point as well. Assuming it's reasonable enough without having to use too many different seeds to avoid impossible chunks.
pretty disappointing how all the characters you unlock are just reskins of each other and how there is no bonus indie game geust character like the first game. Would be cool if we got Frisk from Undertale, Shante from the Shante series, Hat kid from A Hat in Time, and better yet, Shovel Knight from the Shovel Knight series. I really don’t know what happened with team meat during the development of this game. Its just sad honestly.
It definitely could have been better, yes, although I like the game for what it is. I think it's best not to compare it with the original too much. And who knows, perhaps there will be some updates or DLC later on that make the game even better.
Fun fact for people to learn. If you didn't know, PETA made a bootleg of this game called "Tofu Boy" and tried to make it better than meat boy. So the meat boy game devs put a weak,useless, ugly, and iron deficient tofu boy into the game to mock the cock wipes at PETA for making the bootleg of this game. Also (not part of this) if a game dev finds a bootleg character in a bootleg game that copies theirs, they can add it to the game and do what they want to the character. Make them over powered or make them weak as paper in a bonfire. They could do it to mock or congratulate the bootleg character.

I'm pretty happy that they did, although whether or not certain levels are possible seems to be seed dependent (and some might always be impossible). The bosses are also all impossible except for the first one.

You mean you're having trouble S Ranking the light worlds? My advice is to practice each individual section that gives you trouble until it's consistent enough, and then do the deathless run. Try and find the most consistent strategies as well. Some other advice would be to not do it when you are tired, and to have fun. Other than that, just keep practicing, the levels are all about memorization and figuring out the optimal strategies anyway. There are a few chunks that are pretty precise, but those are just going to require more precision skill from you, which is also improved through practice.

pretty disappointing how all the characters you unlock are just reskins of each other and how there is no bonus indie game geust character like the first game. Would be cool if we got Frisk from Undertale, Shante from the Shante series, Hat kid from A Hat in Time, and better yet, Shovel Knight from the Shovel Knight series. I really don’t know what happened with team meat during the development of this game. Its just sad honestly.
It definitely could have been better, yes, although I like the game for what it is. I think it's best not to compare it with the original too much. And who knows, perhaps there will be some updates or DLC later on that make the game even better.

Fun fact for people to learn. If you didn't know, PETA made a bootleg of this game called "Tofu Boy" and tried to make it better than meat boy. So the meat boy game devs put a weak,useless, ugly, and iron deficient tofu boy into the game to mock the cock wipes at PETA for making the bootleg of this game. Also (not part of this) if a game dev finds a bootleg character in a bootleg game that copies theirs, they can add it to the game and do what they want to the character. Make them over powered or make them weak as paper in a bonfire. They could do it to mock or congratulate the bootleg character.
