I like that they have Garmin integration already, but as you mention, it really need to be just a data field integration instead of a separate app.

definitely, I'm not even sure why companies develop apps for Garmin instead of just a data field integration in the first place, but hopefully that will come soon once they get some feedback

Not a big fan. I live and train at altitude and workouts are 4-6 hours. I don't sweat a lot as I am an endurance cyclist. The sensor did not pick up anything during the first 2 hours. At that point, my phone died after being completely drained by the app. After I returned home I was never able to get access to any data captured during my workout. I also cannot start another workout as the app seems confused. I am working with support and hopefully, they can help. Unfortunately at altitude, most of our hydration loss is due to transpiration and muscle processing, not sweat. Not sure if this is actually appropriate for very long workouts if you don't sweat a lot. I hope to hear something from support.

Just wondering if you heard back from them?

@@qigong1001 I did hear back and support was very good. They were not able to make it work for me. There have been a number of software releases since then so it may be fixed by now. I ended up going with a different solution due to my training

@@scryan7371hello fellow ultra distance cyclist here. Was thinking about this but saw your comment. What are you using now?

That’s an interesting new gizmo, does it assume that you are fully hydrated when you start and basically measures loss?

    • @ConnectTheWatts

it cannot measure current hydration levels, just hydration loss to help you know what you need to replenish during endurance training/events.

What about using the Nix with a watch and not with a sticker?

Does it tell you sodium lost or needed or just "electrolytes"?
