slot limit is a good debate and arguably part of the reason Minnesota walleye stocks are so good. but Minnesota also spends a ton of $$ stocking

I'm a big fan of slot limits. Heck, I wish they would even apply a slot limit to panfish! Not every lake would be suitable for a slot, but the ones that are I think it would really help the fisheries.

I would take the size limit off and put a limit on how many you can keep per day .It worked before the put the 18 inch limit on and we caught all year classes of Walleyes .I pay for the walleyes with my lisenas and I don)t want to see them dying of old age .Oure water gets just to hot down here in the Summer for them to live a long life .

    • @LarrySmithOutdoors

If you keep all the 14 to 16 the walleye they will never get to 18 to 22.

We have a 18 inch size limit here in Ks. and it don)t work I personally don)t want to keep walleye over 18 inches .The adverse life of a walleye in Ks. is 4 years so a 18inch limit makes no sense.
