Yes but the person has to hold along some documents

For Canada immigration
You don’t talk to visa officer before getting your visa
You only have to submit your necessary documents
Then at the point of entry into the country ,they might ask you questions before getting your study permit

Hey tolu , after your biometrics did they give you anything to take home as proof or you just left empty handed
They stamped a copy of my photocopied passport data page ,that is what you will submit along others when they request you to submit your passport
